Dr. Leonard Jones
I have experience treating adults ages 18-80+ with depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, stress, life transitions, emotional regulation, mood disorders, trauma, insomnia, and adjustment disorders. I also enjoy working with individuals navigating challenges related to identity, cultural experiences, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships. My practice is inclusive and affirming, and I am committed to providing culturally competent care for individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
My clinical practice includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, ongoing medication management, and the integration of supportive psychotherapy during medication management visits to help patients develop effective coping strategies and improve overall functioning.
I'm passionate about helping people feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered in their treatment. Meaningful progress happens when patients feel safe sharing their experiences and actively participate in decisions about their care. Building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and open communication is central to my practice. I believe that every person's experiences, values, and goals are unique, and I take the time to understand what matters most to you so we can develop a treatment plan that fits your needs.
My approach is collaborative, patient-centered, and grounded in evidence-based care. I focus on meeting patients where they are and working together to strengthen resilience, autonomy, and overall mental well-being. I prioritize active listening and open communication so we can build a treatment plan that truly fits your experiences, goals, and values.
