Geoffrey Fletcher
I became a therapist after working for many years in business and finance. I was fortunate to then complete a master's and subsequently a doctoral program in Psychology. This professional and academic experience supports the therapy I've been providing for over a decade. By connecting academic theories with my clients' real-life situations and an empathic and thoughtful style, I seek to help clients understand themselves better while supporting their movement forward in positive directions. In addition to working as a therapist, I have written about long-term success for couples and workplace stress and have led therapy groups on these topics as well as anxiety and depression. I specialize in these areas working with couples and individuals. I am a therapist at Octave, a behavioral health practice creating a new standard for mental health care that’s both high-quality and accessible. Cristeta Rillera
I enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds and have experience working around trauma and crisis. I am passionate about creating a nonjudgmental and supportive environment for clients and serving as a reliable resource for them while they heal from current and past crises. My approach to therapy is integrative and through a trauma-informed and multicultural lens. I respect and have deep appreciation for clients who invite me into their lives allowing me to witness their truth: the past traumas that inform their current perspectives; the ongoing struggles with racism, colonialism, and prejudice; and the hopes and dreams they continue to cultivate despite all of life’s challenges. Early adulthood can be a confusing, tumultuous time. You may be forging an identity, dealing with instability in living situations, academics, career, or relationships, and perhaps caught up in the painful effects of complex trauma from childhood and adolescence. Financial and career stress in a confusing economy doesn't help. I resonate most with young adults struggling with family of origin issues, discrimination, and experiences of trauma and loss. These issues and experiences often lead to depression, anxiety, and worries about not being good enough or able to make healthy decisions. I am able to be present when you are hopeless and help you see the good within. My approach flexible and catered to your needs. What brings you to therapy is a focus, but I also acknowledge that the past informs the present. We may take that past on directly or keep it in mind as a minor theme. Insight combined with action are often the keys to change.

I approach therapy from an integrative standpoint, using evidence-based therapy modalities that best suit the individuals, couples, or groups with whom I am working. I find the exploratory techniques espoused in Psychodynamic models to be core to and underpinning a great deal of my practice. Psychodynamic work, for me, provides a solid foundation of knowledge on which to base my understanding of my client, and it is the basis from which I tailor subsequent interventions, including the use of alternate models. As needed - and very much also a primary model of therapy I will default to - is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The affording of structure, the ease of understanding of interventions, and the strong evidence-based support for this model make integrating it into the work an almost seamless task. As needed I also use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and, for trauma, I also employ the techniques of Cognitive Processing Therapy. As needed, I pull from both Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I can help you find meaningful relationships or help you through struggles with self-esteem or self-love. I will help if you feel like you excel professionally but personally never seem to feel like you are enough. I believe a solid connection with your therapist is fundamental to growth through the therapeutic process. One of my strengths is my ability to connect with my clients by being empathetic, honest, and direct. I believe lived experiences shape who we are and I think we all have inner strengths. My goal is to get clients to see their strength through the therapeutic process. Or perhaps, you would like to understand how lived trauma and/or generational trauma may be affecting you. As an immigrant from Central America, I am all too familiar with the cultural and sociological challenges that can consume our daily lives. I also recognize that simply seeking therapy can be viewed as weakness or frailty. However, I believe the ability to discard those misguided myths and seek help show that you already possess the necessary strength to face your fears and start that healing process. I am a therapist at Octave, a behavioral health practice creating a new standard for mental health care that’s both high-quality and accessible. I'm Lauryn (she/her), a Registered Dietitian who helps people with prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, PCOS, disordered eating, and body image concerns, especially when those overlap. My clients aren't looking for another diet. They want support, knowledge, and a flexible plan that fits real life. I work from a weight-inclusive, intuitive eating, Health at Every Size (HAES) lens, shaped by my background in eating disorder care at the PHP/IOP and outpatient levels.
