Seeking support can feel vulnerable, and I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. From the moment we begin working together, my goal is to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can safely explore life's challenges, build self-awareness, and move toward meaningful change at your own pace. With nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field, I work with adults of all ages navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and the impacts of addiction. There is a particular place in my heart for emerging adults as they find their footing through identity development, relationships, career pressures, and the significant changes that come with early adulthood. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I approach every person I work with as exactly that: an individual. Drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and narrative therapy, I meet you where you are and build a holistic, individualized therapeutic experience that feels supportive, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, strengths, and goals. Recognizing that each person's experiences, challenges, and healing process are different shapes everything about how I show up for you. My aim, as a person-centered and trauma-informed therapist, is for you to leave each session feeling empowered, supported, and more connected to yourself as you navigate life's complexities. Graduating with my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in 2023 marked the beginning of a career rooted in purpose. Upon earning my LPC credential, I began providing outpatient therapy in the Boulder area, offering individual counseling to adults seeking support in managing their mental health and building a fulfilling life. At the heart of this work is a deep belief in the strength and resilience of the human spirit. Whatever you are navigating, I am here to walk alongside you with care and understanding.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, emotional overwhelm, and relationship challenges. With several years of experience, I work with adults navigating some of life's most complex terrain, helping you find your footing when anxiety feels unmanageable, when past experiences weigh heavily on the present, or when relationships and sense of self feel uncertain. Empathy and authentic connection are at the heart of how I work. If you're looking for a thoughtful, attuned partner in your care, I look forward to helping you feel more connected, balanced, and at ease. My approach is gentle, grounding, and collaborative. Sessions are designed to be a safe, restorative space where you can slow down, tune into your nervous system, and begin creating meaningful, lasting change. Using relaxation techniques and nervous system-focused strategies, I help you reconnect with yourself and build a sense of balance that carries beyond our time together. Every person's needs and goals are different, and I tailor my approach accordingly. Whatever you're working through, you can expect a space that is supportive, unhurried, and shaped around you. A natural empathy for others and a deep desire to support people through life's challenges first drew me to this work. That pull became a purpose, and over time it shaped my commitment to providing warm, supportive, and empowering care. Authenticity and compassion guide every session. Whether you're working to restore a sense of well-being, process difficult experiences, or simply find more meaning in your daily life, I'm here to walk that path with you. Outside of sessions, you'll likely find me on a yoga mat, out on a trail, or setting up camp somewhere with my dog by my side. These practices of mindfulness, movement, and time in nature are part of how I stay grounded, and they deepen my appreciation for the quiet power of simply slowing down.

I am a licensed professional counselor specializing in helping adolescent and adult patients expand their resilience and coping skills to better navigate current challenges. While I specialize in treating root causes of chronic anxiety and depression, I am also here to assist those struggling with PTSD, compulsive disorders, behavioral/conduct issues, neurodiverse issues, grief, and life changes, with extensive experience working with patients managing substance use disorders. Working together, you can expect a stable and calming environment where kindness and respect are the pillars in which a trusting relationship is built. I use an eclectic array of treatments to help achieve your goals, from cognitive interventions to somatic therapy, play therapy to creative interventions – all with an emphasis on expanding self-worth, healthy reward systems, and discipline. I am especially passionate about incorporating somatic interventions from a trauma-informed lens. This multi-faceted approach is best described as flexible and tailored, keeping your unique needs and objectives as the focus at all times. I look forward to creating a safe, open space with you in our time together. My path to becoming a therapist began as a teenager upon experiencing significant traumatic events with the loss of my older brother and cousin. These events developed and deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, empathic responses to those undergoing defining life changes. Now, I place high emphasis on not forgetting life experiences, but expanding on resilience to cope with and honor them. When I’m not in the office, I love spending my free time outside. Hiking, camping, fishing, snowboarding, attending live music shows, and even oil painting – I love it all!

Feeling stressed and anxious? Worried about fitting in, getting good grades, disappointing other people? Therapy is a great place to learn how to manage these types of worries by learning more about yourself and the roots of these feelings. I offer culturally competent, trauma informed therapy for individuals and couples facing the every day struggles of being alive. I am a cis-gendered heterosexual Asian American woman. My pronouns are she/her. I use many modalities including EMDR, Brainspotting, and CBT, among others. I have a Masters degree in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelors of Arts from Harvard University. I have over 15 years of professional experience. I offer both in-person and video sessions. My office is located on Broadway and Baseline, just south of the CU Boulder campus.

I offer a nonjudgmental space to explore your inner world and build relationship with all parts of yourself. I work with folks experiencing overwhelm or anxiety, experiencing a life transition, wishing to reconnect with themselves, or healing from loss, trauma, shame, perfectionism, or people pleasing. I also work with children of emotionally immature parents, highly sensitive people, and those healing from narcissistic abuse. My intention is for my office to be a place where you feel deeply seen and accepted, where you can find your way back to yourself. My intention is for my office to be a place where you feel deeply seen and accepted, where you can find your way back to yourself. I specialize in anxiety and trauma and utilize compassionate talk therapy, mindfulness, IFS (parts work, inner child work or reparenting work), resourcing skills, psychoeducation, and EMDR in sessions with clients. Most of the work I do with clients centers around helping individuals repair their relationship with themselves. My style is warm and deeply validating. I am not interested in directing your life path (as walking the path of healing is something only you can do), but rather holding a flashlight, offering wisdom and resources, and helping you hold what’s hurting. It is an honor to do this work. Please reach out with any questions or to schedule a consultation.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker and Clinical Candidate with more than a decade of experience, I offer adolescents and adults a warm, safe space where patients feel truly seen and supported. I specialize in trauma and mood disorders, helping individuals develop coping skills and understand how their mind and body respond to stress and life transitions. My approach is grounded in building a collaborative, compassionate, and authentic relationship where you are empowered to regulate, heal from anxiety, depression, and trauma, and move toward a more balanced and peaceful way of living. I deeply believe that no one has to navigate their pain alone and that everyone deserves the opportunity to heal. I believe in practicing radical empathy and acceptance, which helps me be a therapist who believes in hope and healing – because I have experienced it. Working together, you are assured a welcoming and judgement-free environment that incorporates a strengths-based approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and polyvagal-informed techniques to help you understand your reactions, reduce stress, and feel more balanced. My style is supportive and authentic, with a touch of humor when appropriate, and adapted to your hopes and goals. I look forward to being part of your mental health journey to help build resilience, regulate the mind and body, and cultivate a more peaceful, balanced life. My path to becoming a therapist began with my own mental health journey in my 20s. Having survived a traumatic upbringing, I knew I needed serious healing in order to build the life I wanted for myself. This personal experience in overcoming obstacles raised by trauma deepened my commitment to pursuing a career in mental health, and fueled my commitment to providing a holistic and deeply empathic approach to helping others heal. That’s why, in my practice now, I bring a humble and nonjudgmental perspective to each session, knowing that we all need help on our life journeys. When I’m not in the office, I love taking photos in nature, hiking, skiing, attending live music concerts (especially at outdoor venues), traveling, and learning about plants and animals. I’m also a big fan of mental health and wellness podcasts as well as card and board games (Catan is super fun, even if I don't often win!). Most of all, I love dogs, especially my senior dog (Frenchie/pug/beagle mix).

In my care now, I use this integrative and whole-person perspective to ensure compassionate, trauma-informed care in every session. I work best with students who are high-achieving, thoughtful, and often putting a lot of pressure on themselves to succeed. Many of the students I support feel anxious, overwhelmed, or burned out, even when things look “fine” on the outside. I also work closely with students from multicultural backgrounds who are navigating identity, family expectations, or a sense of not fully belonging. I have extensive experience supporting students who have been impacted by trauma, including sexual assault, relationship violence, and other difficult life experiences. I spent four years working at the Office of Victim Assistance at CU Boulder, and I bring a steady, compassionate approach to creating a space where students feel safe, supported, and in control of their healing process.
