Adjusting to college life can be difficult on so many levels. I can help with anxiety and depression issues that you've been struggling with for a long time or that are new to you. Issues I often see are related to adjusting to being independent for the first time, the rigor of school, or navigating new social circles. I have special expertise in helping folks with body-focused repetitive behaviors (skin picking, hair pulling) as well as being training in cognitive behavioral treatment of insomnia.

You were taught how to do Algebra, but not how to deal with the situation you find yourself in. Most of our work has focused on treating trauma, and working through the hard things that have happened in a client's life. I strive to provide a safe space to work through emotions and find effective ways to manage them. Trauma impacts our relationships. It's that simple.
