At Soul Sprout Mindful Care, we are dedicated to helping you and your family achieve Mental Health. We believe that Mental Health is just as important as physical health, and we treat it as such. We are committed to providing therapeutic services including individual outpatient therapy, family outpatient therapy, and couples outpatient therapy. A therapist will work with you to develop a treatment plan, with interventions tailored specifically to your needs. We believe that you should be heard, and we take supporting you very seriously. In the African American community, we are haunted by intergenerational trauma that shapes how we view and operate within the world. By increasing the frequency with which people of color pursue therapy, we work to break the cycle of trauma and aid you in beginning a new family tradition of mental health. We are honored to work to be a part of this change! Our number one priority is the health and safety of our clients. We're working to provide telehealth services via zoom during this COVID crisis.

Hello! I am an Associate Professional Counselor with a Catholic/Christian background, and I work for Ellie Mental Health in Gainesville, GA
As no two individuals are the same, I tailor my work with each client to address the challenges unique to you. As Ward Foley has stated, "We are not given a good life or a bad life. We are given a life. It is up to us to make it good or bad." I am glad that you found this platform and have taken the courageous first step of being here! When working with clients, I focus on their strengths and their ability to create lasting change for themselves. My approach to therapy is holistic, factoring the mind, body, and spirit into wellness to help empower you. I utilize CBT, mindfulness, and strengths based approaches and provide compassion, healing honesty, and support throughout our time together. I began my career working in both inpatient as well as outpatient settings. I completed my Master's in Social Work at the University of South Carolina. I have worked with a wide range of populations facing a wide range of issues for over seven years- from hospice to trauma, crisis and substance abuse counseling in an inpatient setting, to most recently in the past two years practicing individual counseling in a purely outpatient setting. I am skilled in crisis management and trauma focused CBT having worked in an inpatient mental health setting for three years. I am very comfortable working with anyone from 18 years and up, LGBTQ friendly. I specialize in emotional and physical regulation to help manage difficult situations, depression, anxiety, grief/loss/bereavement, prior trauma/ re-experiencing of traumatic events, geriatric focused counseling, life transitions, and general stress. I am ready to help you find ways to navigate through major life changes, depression, anxiety, isolation, relationship stress, addiction, prior trauma, and many other factors that may be keeping you from thriving. You don't have to be alone on this journey. I will help equip you with new tools that will service you for years to come into being your best self and help you find solutions you already have within you but haven't been able to access. Whether you are looking for long term therapy to sort out past hurts, or short term therapy to see your way out of a difficult situation, I look forward to supporting you to reach your goals. Let's work together to understand the root of your struggles and address issues with long-lasting strategies to help you work towards the life you have always wanted!
At Sunrise Counseling, we understand that people need solutions that work in real life. Many of our clients come to us feeling lost, challenged, or overwhelmed—but through compassionate support and practical strategies, they find the courage to build new skills and feel more confident about themselves and their lives. Since 1990, our practice has been dedicated to helping children, adolescents, college students, women, and families take control of their lives so they can grow, heal, and thrive. Our team of therapists uses a flexible, individualized approach to meet each client’s needs. Sometimes this looks like traditional talk therapy, play therapy, or family therapy; other times it might include Telehealth video sessions for added convenience. We also integrate specialized techniques such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused strategies, and Play Therapy to help clients reach their goals. In addition to individual and family counseling, Sunrise Counseling offers group opportunities, including supportive groups for women and teens. These spaces allow clients to connect with others, share experiences, and learn new tools in a supportive environment. At Sunrise Counseling, we believe therapy should not only bring relief in difficult moments but also empower clients with lasting skills to feel good about themselves and their relationships. Together, we help individuals and families find clarity, resilience, and hope for the future.

So many obstacles can hinder a person from experiencing a vibrant, peaceful, and satisfying life. My goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space to process your experiences, cope with distressing emotions, and promote healing in whatever way feels best for you. I’m drawn to working with young adults, women, and individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, recent or past trauma, PTSD, and relationship issues. I approach clients by considering the strengths, values, goals, and experiences of each unique individual. I value a collaborative relationship towards self-exploration, insight, and building skills like mindfulness and self-compassion. My approach involves integrating elements from various therapeutic modalities to suit each client’s goals. It’s not always easy or comfortable to ask for help. My intention is to create a genuine and empowering therapeutic alliance grounded in curiosity, respect, and compassion. I believe that every person is the expert of their own life and provided the appropriate support can achieve the growth and healing they desire for themselves.
The hardest part about getting help is that first step where we have to ask. It takes a lot of courage to admit we don't have the right tools for the job, especially when that job is our happiness. Maybe we push people away, or get angry out of nowhere, or carry so much stress we can't sleep. Burnout and depression weigh us down and make it hard to connect with those around us. Our sessions are active and genuine. I work in session to help lower anxiety, build confidence, work through trauma, and to face fear courageously. Our sessions will spend time understanding your values and goals and what you need. I want you to feel like your time was well spent in our sessions. You've already started your journey of getting help and building your skills for a more fulfilling life, and that's awesome! It'll be hard but the fact that you've already begun shows you have strength. If this resonates with you, then I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi! I am Kaye Davis and I am a Licensed professional counselor in the heart of the classic city of Athens, GA. I have years of experience working with those individuals who are attending school, graduating, or even staff members that struggle with mental health stress. I believe you all are the experts on your life, and I am here to just walk alongside of you as you navigate this thing we call life. I have years of experience as a Collegiate basketball coach and also former athlete myself at Berry College in Rome, GA. I have a different quirky style of therapy, but at the end of the day, my number one goal is to provide you the ability to talk and explore areas that are strengths but also while looking at growth opportunities. I would also encourage you to find YOUR fit for therapist. Not every therapist is the right fit initially. I believe thru open honest communication things can be worked out where we can find a therapist will work that will be a connection that is helpful and meaningful. Welcome! I'm Lindsey - a licensed clinical social worker specializing in the treatment of trauma. I practice at Counseling Associates for Well-being in our Athens, GA office. If you are searching for a therapist who understands anxiety and trauma, who is compassionate and caring, and who will help you identify and resolve the origin of your symptoms - please reach out! “I have learned now that while those who speak about one’s miseries usually hurt, those who keep silence hurt more.” - Clive Staples Lewis Beginning the process of therapy can be intimidating, overwhelming, and scary. I completely understand and have been where you are. Sitting in silence only prolongs the inevitable. Trying to resolve the problem with the help of a friend or loved one eases the burden temporarily but you may not get to the core. Working with a trusted therapist, you begin to understand your deeper thought processes, the ineffective loops you’re likely stuck in, and the fear-based thoughts holding you back. I help people struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relational conflicts. I begin where you stand now. I move slowly, gently, and respectfully towards the goals we create together. My therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma, and Systemic Family Therapy. Some of my past experiences include working with individuals and couples in several private practice locations over the years, an inpatient drug/alcohol addiction treatment center, and at a U.S. Air Force base helping military members and their families. I also worked as a mental health counselor in a close-security prison for 3 ½ years helping male inmates struggling with mental health issues. A few fun facts about me: I spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and have lived in multiple countries and states. I've been married to my beautiful bride for over 20 years and we are empty nesters (if you don't count our 4 pets)!
I'm Dr. Chantelle Walker, and I’m so glad you’re considering working with us. I absolutely love what I do and take great pride in creating a space where my clients can show up as their authentic selves. More importantly, I meet them exactly where they are. The therapeutic journey is a profound experience, and I never take it for granted. I laugh with my clients, support them through challenges, and sometimes even share a tear as they reach milestones they once thought were impossible. My goal is to ensure that no one feels alone—I work hard to provide a safe space where self-care and mindfulness can take center stage. I work with adults (18+) facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, work stress, coping strategies, ADHD, attachment styles, and relationships.
There is a part of me that feels extremely anxious. There is a part of me that gets really sad and down at times. There is a part of part of me that can hardly get out of bed some days. There is a part of me that needs to take care of everyone and everything. There is a part of me that wants to check out and escape from all the responsibilities I have. There is a part of me that thinks about dying and a part of me that wants to live. There is a part of me that …. How many times have we all had these feelings or thoughts that come over us that seem conflicting at times but represent how we are feeling in the moment. Understanding our parts even those that are contradictory, being able to validate and accept our parts, and creating balance and space for our parts mentally can be attained through therapy. Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) is designed to allow us to heal from our pain, hurt, and fears by managing the parts that have been created out of our traumas. We have all experienced trauma in some form, and we all have parts that have been borne from those traumas. Parts that help us manage our daily lives and parts that may tend to disrupt our lives, but all of these parts are valid and serve some self-protective purpose and can be managed once they are understood. Contact Phoenix Rising Counseling for a consult.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. I strive to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you hope to be in your life. My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a non-judgmental safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. I bring 24 years of experience to my small private practice. You will receive individualized care in a compassionate and caring environment.
