Hi, I'm glad you are reaching out for help and to begin the process of self-discovery. Due to COVID, I'm currently providing only telehealth sessions. We can all encounter barriers β often these are out of our awareness β that prevent us from thriving in our careers and in relationships. I believe the therapeutic relationship offers a unique opportunity in the here-and-now to increase our self-awareness and understand the influence of the past on our present behavior. I work collaboratively, empathically and creatively to help you get βunstuckβ and to foster meaningful, lasting change in your inner world and in your relationships with others. Over the years, I have worked with people who are experiencing challenges related to college, work, intimate relationships, identity (cultural, racial, sexual, gender, class β and intersections of these), trauma, grief, adjustments or transitions, anxiety and depression. I have worked for many years with graduate and undergraduate students.

Traditional, at the office therapy, has become a thing of the past. We understand some still might have a preference for it, and believe itβs actually best suited for children under the age of 8. Having said that, we strive to stay ahead of the curve and provide our clients the best therapy available. Yes, we do this by having an amazing group of therapists, and also by providing convenient counseling that fits the needs of our clients. Working with your therapist through easy to use online therapy is a practical and smart solution in todayβs world. We also work with young people who are attending school or dealing with transitions in life that can cause stress, tense feelings and overall discomfort.

You have been trying to do the right things in your relationships but it seems like everything you do either backfires or results in the same conflict. This leaves you anxious and feeling as though there is no hope in your family, social or love life. You have the suspicion that past childhood trauma or previous feelings of abandonment are impacting your current romantic relationships. You may have explored your attachment style and want to get a handle on how to not let your past impact your future. Maybe you are someone who gets along well in your relationships - perhaps, too well because you arenβt implementing healthy boundaries. Youβre drained but donβt know how to get out of the cycle because everyone now expects for you to be the βstrongβ friend, or adult child. Perhaps you are someone who is going through the difficult transition into separation, divorce, and or coparenting. You might even be experiencing one or any combination of the things above, and find yourself over relying on coping skills like emotional eating, drinking, using substances, etc. that are counterproductive.

I strive to create an environment in which clients feel comfortable and at ease to facilitate sharing. You are the expert on your life and your experiences. I work with you to determine your goals for therapy and support you along your therapeutic journey. I currently work with adolescents and adults.
