Hello! Let's be honest...seeking therapy can be an uncertain and anxiety-filled process whether you have never worked with a counselor before or have had multiple bad experiences leaving you feeling guarded and hopeless. Each client has different needs and you deserve counseling that is tailored specifically to you. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia. I currently hold an Educational Specialist’s Degree (Ed.S.) in Counselor Education and a Master’s Degree (M.S.) in Clinical Psychology. I have extensive experience working in the counseling field for over 10 years where I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults receiving services for behavioral mental health and substance abuse in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and semi independent residential treatment facilities. Specifically, I have worked with clients diagnosed with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, attention-deficit hyperactivity, and psychotic disorders as well as those struggling with behavioral and emotional distress, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, sleep difficulties, and more. I particularly enjoy working with students and faculty to help them thrive during transitions. Because therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution, I use an integrative approach and pull from various theoretical orientations (person-centered, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, interpersonal process) to ensure your treatment is individualized and collaborative. Regardless of the intervention or techniques used, I practice from the fundamental belief that most often people are good and are trying to do their best given their current situation, but may make bad decisions. We are all human and imperfect… and worthy of love and compassion. This includes you. I am part of the Path referral network, which means that when you reach out, my team will get back to you quickly to schedule our first session. Through Path, I am in-network for most commercial insurances, and the average cost of a session for clients who use their insurance is less than $30.

When you fall in love, mating hormones cause everything to be so easy: the touching, kissing, making love, listening, being heard, talking about anything and sometimes communicating without words. In six months, the hormones lose effect and loving loses the easy. Now we can teach you skills to get the easy loving back every day. Email us at lanestokes18@yahoo.com to reserve day and time to take the classes. Couples and Marriage Counseling is all about talking. We are all about action. Learn more at CounselingServicesAtlanta.com Lane Stokes, Founder KEY WORD is ACTION! We are moving rapidly from counseling to teaching because no time is wasted in talking about what is hoped for. You are getting it right then! Of course, teaching is a brand new concept so we continue to offer counseling for those unwilling to try something new. We treat mental illnesses and conditions, shame, guilt, anger, depression, anxiety, sadness, loneliness and worry. We also teach cutting edge classes for controlling emotions, discovering how others see us and changing that to something more preferred, teaching clients how to increase self-esteem and self-confidence, understanding personality conflicts that destroy relationships both personal and business and more. I am Lane, easy to talk with, caring, non-judgmental and eager to help. Please email me at lanestokes18@yahoo.com and lets chat about all that we can do for you. Consultation is complimentary. If you think the fee of $190 is too much, consider the speed with which we work. I can teach you in five hours what it would take you five years to learn in weekly counseling about emotions. Welcome! Regardless of what you’re experiencing, you don’t have to do it alone. My ultimate hope for my clients is that they develop deeper, more rewarding relationships with themselves, God, and others. I love getting to be your partner in this process. CLINICAL FOCUS I am a disordered eating counselor who is passionate about helping individuals heal their relationship to food and their bodies. Having worked in higher levels of care in eating disorder recovery (IP, RES, PHP), I have extensive knowledge and experience in treating a range of eating difficulty presentations. I believe that many of us end up stuck in patterns that aren’t serving us like they used to. These patterns are often why people enter therapy. My clients typically hear me say that their behaviors make sense and have been incredibly useful at times to keep them safe, connected, and surviving. When these behaviors don’t serve us anymore, we need to learn something new. That’s where therapy comes in. I incorporate EMDR and talk therapy to help people move past disordered eating behaviors and rebuild broken trust with themselves and their bodies. When our body isn't the enemy anymore, we have the capacity for more depth, connection, and presence in our lives. This impacts everything. I also work with individuals facing challenging relationship dynamics, trauma and attachment wounds, anxiety and depression, shame and self-worth issues, and spiritual concerns. In addition, I am a Prepare/Enrich Certified Facilitator and enjoy working with pre-marital couples as they prepare for marriage. WHAT TO EXPECT IN A SESSION My counseling style is warm and relational. I counsel from an attachment perspective, which means I prioritize building a secure relationship between us. We'll do hard work together, but you'll always have someone in the trenches with you. I conduct sessions virtually. This means we will meet from the comfort of your home (or lunch break if needed!). Being in an environment that is familiar to you can help create a sense of security. It can also eliminate barriers that make it difficult to attend therapy.
Hi! I'm Rosie (she/her). I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of both Georgia and Texas. I work primarily with young adults (20s and 30s), and many of my clients are people who identify as LGBTQIA+. I have special focus in trauma processing, ADHD management, and career exploration. Throughout my social work career I have passionately advocated for racial, social and economic justice through the empowerment of individuals and groups including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, people with HIV, people experiencing homelessness, people with mental illness, people with disabilities, veterans, children and youth, and more. As a queer and neurodivergent therapist myself, I am mindful of how people’s identities factor into their experience of the world and their experience in therapy. I believe that people begin to heal the moment they feel heard. While I do incorporate interventions like CBT, EMDR, IFS, and distress tolerance, my first and foremost focus is to be unconditionally on your team and on your side. Past clients have told me that I am a natural listener and am genuine and warm in how I relate to people. When I am not obsessing over the personality psychology phenomenon known as the enneagram, I enjoy laying in the sun with a good podcast, jogging the Atlanta beltline, reading, cooking, yoga, and exploring the local food scene.
It all starts with a good therapist. Hi, I’m Dr. Dominique Thomas. I specialize in supporting students who feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or like they’re carrying more than people realize. Many of the students I work with are balancing academics, mental health, family expectations, and relationship struggles, all while trying to figure out who they are and what matters most to them. If your mind feels like it’s always going, or you’re juggling a lot emotionally and mentally, you’re not alone band you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I work best with students navigating ADHD, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, identity questions, family conflict, and relationship challenges. You might be the strong one in your circle, the first in your family to pursue higher education, or someone who shows up for others while silently burning out. This space is for you. In therapy, we’ll explore the patterns and pressures shaping your experience and create practical, affirming strategies that actually work for your life. My approach is warm, culturally sensitive, and collaborative. I meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be with more clarity, confidence, and peace. If you’re feeling stuck, misunderstood, or just emotionally exhausted, know that support is available and healing is possible. I’m here to walk with you.
Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, dating challenges, or life transitions? You don’t have to navigate it alone. I love working with college students seeking clarity, peace, and confidence—whether you're adjusting to campus life, preparing for the future, or feeling emotionally stuck and alone. Originally from Houston, Texas and now based in Atlanta, I’ve been fully licensed since 2018 and practicing since 2012. My early work focused on adolescents and families affected by substance use, but I found my sweet spot working with young adults navigating anxiety, relationship stress, and identity development. Whether you're facing college anxiety, academic pressure, or relationship concerns, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can process emotions and grow at your own pace. Therapy with me is relaxed, empowering, and rooted in real-life support. Healing isn’t instant, but it starts with being open, heard, and supported. Let’s take that first step—together.
