I tend to work best with students who are struggling with relationships, attachment, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with notice patterns in their relationships feeling anxious, overthinking, fearing abandonment, homesick or feeling like they give more than they receive. Others may be going through changes in friendships, family dynamics, dating, or figuring out who they are and what they want. College and young adulthood can bring a lot of change, and sometimes those transitions can bring up deeper emotions or past experiences that affect how we connect with others. In therapy, I focus on creating a space where you can be open and honest without feeling judged. Together we explore relationship patterns, emotional responses, and what might be underneath them. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build healthier relationships, set boundaries, and feel more confident navigating change.
Have you noticed yourself feeling anxious, distracted, irritable, unable to finish certain tasks, and overall having a hard time managing overwhelming emotions? Are you looking for short-term coaching or consultation, whether it be parenting, relationship, or corporate? If so, let’s schedule a phone consultation and make a plan to meet your needs and achieve your goals!

Stephanie is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in treating adolescents and young adults. She has two undergraduate degrees, in Psychology and in Nursing as well as a masters degree in Nursing from Northeastern University. She began her nursing career in primary care at a pediatrician’s office as well as an inpatient child psychiatry unit. She has found that these experiences have helped sharpen her knowledge of normal vs. abnormal child development, working within the family unit, and has built her resources in the community. Stephanie has work experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in outpatient, inpatient and emergency room settings. She enjoys working closely with her patients and their families in treating their mental health concerns. Her practice is collaborative, encouraging her patients to be active participants in their care. She believes that medication is not the only answer and recommends that her patients are actively in therapy as well as seeking ways to lead healthy lifestyles.
I approach each client with a wide angle view–considering all the factors that contribute to a client’s presenting concerns. For those interested in traditional psychotherapy, I draw from 20+ years of experience using a range of therapeutic interventions (psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness focused) to offer individual and parent support services. In recent years I have been expanding my expertise and services to include other holistic modalities, specifically biofield tuning, which has allowed options for using sound and energy focused work to address emotional issues. For interested clients, I weave together the benefits of psychotherapy with biofield tuning to create a unique healing experience.
Hi! I'm Victoria. I'm an EMDR, Somatic, and Narrative Therapist who specializes in supporting young adults who have been impacted by childhood, relational, medical trauma and phobias. I'm passionate about empowering survivors of complex trauma to break generational cycles, learn what their minds and bodies need to feel safe, and finally get out of survival mode.
I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist and I draw from my 10+ years of experience in College Mental Health to provide care to students preparing for and managing the mental health challenges of college. I strongly believe in evaluating and treating the whole person and in meeting you where you are with a goal of helping you find the path to your best possible self. I have a particular interest in anxiety related disorders and utilize a holistic approach to managing anxiety and helping students optimize wellness. I incorporate skills from CBT, ACT, and Mindfulness into my therapy practice. I utilize medication management if and when indicated to optimize treatment. Due to my limited office hours, I am not equipped to treat conditions that could require urgent and immediate care and thus if you are struggling with chronic or treatment-resistant resistant mood disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, addictions, severe eating disorders, or chronic suicidality, I recommend you seek care through a health system or provider that offers more services suited to best meet your needs.

Life can often present us with roadblocks, hardships, and tragedies. And because of this it's sometimes easy to feel stuck and helpless. As such it can be difficult trying to figure out how to navigate such life challenges and whom to confide to about them. That’s where I come in. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner I care deeply about the emotional and mental health of my clients. I assess, diagnose, and treat mental health needs. In my 20 year career in mental health nursing I've worked in hospitals, behavioral health/addictions clinics, long-term care/assisted living facilities, remote telehealth nursing, etc. I help with issues ranging from depression, anxiety, life transitions, low-self-esteem, family conflict, substance abuse, poor relationships, etc. I equip clients with the tools and coping skills they need to build resiliency and develop better self-esteem, relationships, communication skills, etc. to live a healthier, more meaningful and productive life.
Do you spend so much time caring for other people’s needs that your own get lost in the process? Does it feel like everything will fall apart if you slow down? Being the go-to person can cost you a lot of anxiety, sleepless nights, and/or panic. Long hours, high stress, and the constant demands of school, family, and responsibilities leaves little room to focus on how you actually feel physically and emotionally, leading to exhaustion, irritability, and relationship issues. Therapy is a way to reconnect with yourself, set boundaries without guilt, and finally get off the hamster wheel of pleasing, perfecting, and performing. With over 20 years of experience as a therapist specializing in anxiety, burnout, and relationships, we’ll work together to create a new way forward, with proven strategies you can implement daily to complete the stress response cycle, practice self compassion, and fully recognize your self-worth as separate from your accomplishments and/or other's opinions. No matter what you are going through, you can emerge as something greater. Submit your therapy request by email - erin@erinpcollinstherapy.com or visit my website to book a free 15 minute consultation call. In person and online sessions are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. I look forward to meeting you!
