I am offering in person and virtual therapy sessions and have a variety of time/days open. I am an interactive, insight-oriented and solution-focused therapist. My strengths are working with those who have anxiety. With compassion and understanding, I will help you build on your strengths, and learn strategies to calm your anxiety and learn effective coping skills. The young adults I work with are able to safely explore difficult emotions, process current life events, and explore future goals, and what might be getting in the way of achieving these goals.
In addition to eclectic psychotherapy, I provide Internal Family Systems work and a variety of psychodramatic and hypnotic methods in my practice. I have worked with individuals, couples and families for over 4 decades. My belief is that people are complicated and do not fit into simplistic, diagnostic categories. My experience informs me when a therapist (or teacher) believes in your basic goodness and capabilities, you can do more than you ever thought you could.. The initial interview is of the therapist at no charge. Most insurances are accepted. Appointments are limited but available at this time.
I am a trauma-focused, strengths-based clinician with 15+ years of experience who will guide and support you throughout your therapeutic journey. I believe trust and open communication are the foundation to a strong therapeutic relationship that will help you reach your goals -- whether they be unpacking traumatic events or guiding you through a difficult period in your life. My style is direct and straight-forward combined with compassion and humor. I focus on establishing psychological safety and empowering you to create lasting positive change.

Many of the students can sometimes feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted—even when they’re keeping up with classes on the outside. You might notice low motivation, self-doubt, or that small things feel harder than they used to. Some students reach out during times of transition, like starting or leaving college, changing majors, questioning identity, or feeling unsure about what comes next. Others want support processing difficult past or recent experiences that still affect their mood, focus, or sense of stability. I also work with a variety of students. Some managing stress, anxiety, navigating trauma, or are managing physical or ongoing health concerns causing them to feel the emotional weight that comes with it. Balancing school, expectations, and your own well-being can be especially tough when your body isn’t cooperating. In therapy, we’ll focus on both talking things through and building practical tools you can use in daily life. Sessions are collaborative and goal-focused, helping you better understand what’s going on while also finding ways to feel more steady, confident, and supported. You don’t need to have the “right” reason to start therapy—if something feels off or heavy, that’s enough.

Perhaps you’ve been feeling overwhelmed recently. Or you’re struggling with constant worry and stress. Being a young woman and trying to find your way into adulthood is not an easy path. Together we’ll explore unhelpful thoughts and patterns getting in the way of you becoming the woman you want to be.
