Finding a new therapist can be overwhelming. I'm so glad you're here! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides compassionate, evidence-based care for college students struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity exploration (including LGBTQ+ affirming care), and life transitions. Many of my clients are often struggling with confidence, setting boundaries, and being in touch with their feelings and needs. I love supporting young adults who are navigating changing relationships, whether it is navigating new and old friendships, reconfiguring relationships with parents and/or figuring out how you want to show up in romantic relationships. As a multiracial woman, I can empathize with students of color and members of other groups facing obstacles related to systemic oppression, and I strive to create a space where every part of your identity is honored and supported. I form genuine connections with each of my clients and develop a true partnership to address challenges while celebrating growth and progress along the way. I provide a balance of space to process thoughts and feelings while also offering practical tools to support change. You can show up how you need to in a safe, warm and non-judgemental space. I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan but spent the last few years in Denver and have recently moved back to Grand Rapids. When I'm not working I love yoga, running, baking and spending time outside. I'm accepting new clients and happy to text/talk to see if I can be a good fit for what what you need. I accept BCBC, BCN, BCN Advantage, cash-pay and have some sliding scale appointments. I work best with students who appreciate authenticity and want a therapist who “gets it.” I bring a down-to-earth, compassionate approach that helps clients feel seen and supported without judgment. Having grown up in Detroit and worked closely with youth and families, I understand how stress, identity, and real-life challenges can impact mental health. I strive to create a space where you can unpack what’s on your mind, build coping tools that work for you, and feel grounded again, no matter what life throws your way.
