We are a small group of cognitive-behavioral psychologists who specialize in anxiety and OCD. We focus on helping you figure out what your patterns are, and how to change the ones that aren't working for you anymore. In addition to anxiety disorders, we also see patients with ADHD, Autism, and survivors of sexual assault. But don't worry if you're not sure what's wrong - whatever stress or difficulty you're having, we can help you identify it, understand it, and overcome it.
I’m a licensed therapist in New York specializing in collaborative, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed therapy. I work with people navigating challenges related to anxiety, trauma, life transitions, dysfunctional family relationships, and racial/cultural identity. Maybe this looks like chronic over-thinking, struggling in your relationships, difficulty with boundaries, stress, feeling conflicted about your identity, or more. However these challenges show up for you, I'm here to help!
As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with more than 16 years of healthcare experience, my practice is rooted in patient-centered, holistic, trauma-informed care for people at every stage of life. Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, or mood disorders; facing a major life transition; working through grief or trauma; or exploring questions of identity and relationships, including within the LGBTQ+ community, you'll find a space here that is welcoming, stigma free, and free of judgment. Building genuine rapport is at the heart of everything I do. When you walk through the door, my hope is that you feel safe enough to share your story. Consider me a true collaborator in your care. Together, we'll work toward self-discovery and the kind of mental health that feels meaningful to you. No two people are alike, which is why my approach is individualized, collaborative, and holistic. Showing up for you exactly where you are, without preconceptions or pressure, is something I hold as a core commitment. Partnering with you to define your goals and build a path toward them is what I find most fulfilling about this work. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, calm, and nonjudgmental environment where your comfort comes first. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside humanistic and integrative methods, I bring together techniques from multiple approaches to create a personalized treatment plan that fits your unique personality and needs. The result is care that feels less like a formula and more like a conversation. Long before I became a psychiatric nurse practitioner, people in my life would come to me when they needed someone to listen. Friends, family members, and loved ones often said that talking with me helped them through difficult moments. That feedback stayed with me and quietly shaped the direction my career would take. As my healthcare career evolved, so did my appreciation for the depth of emotional support that patients need alongside medical care. Walking alongside people through medical crises, serious illness, and grief deepened my commitment to empathetic, whole-person care and led me to the work I do today. Warmth and a nurturing presence are things I bring to every appointment. When I'm not in the office, you'll often find me outside, walking through nature or settling into a meditation or yoga practice. Creativity is a big part of how I recharge too. Drawing, painting, writing poetry, and music all play a role in my life outside of work. As an amateur musician, I enjoy singing, learning keyboard, and playing flute, less for performance and more for the joy and relaxation it brings.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with six years of experience, I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. Whether you're working through difficult emotions or simply looking to improve daily functioning and personal growth, I'm here to help you find your footing and build the skills to move forward. Specializing in play therapy and person-centered approaches, I believe in meeting you exactly where you are. Together, we'll discover what works for you and develop practical tools that support your personal growth and daily life. Our sessions are built on safety, collaboration, and genuine understanding. Using play therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we'll work together to explore your emotions, strengthen your coping skills, and build the confidence to navigate challenges more independently. Warm and nurturing by nature, I tailor my approach to your unique needs and goals. Every person who comes to me deserves a welcoming, affirming, and nonjudgmental space, and that's exactly what I strive to create. Whether you're a child, teen, or adult, I'm committed to being a trustworthy partner throughout your care, helping you feel more empowered in your everyday life. My path to becoming a therapist began long before graduate school. As a teenager, working with children gave me my first real sense of how meaningful it is to support someone through a hard moment. Paired with my studies in psychology, those early experiences revealed a clear passion: helping others navigate challenges and grow into themselves. That foundation has stayed with me ever since. In every session, I bring empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to connect with each person I work with, because person-centered care isn't just a practice model to me. It's a commitment. When I'm not working, you might find me reading, playing video games, hooked on a crochet project, or enjoying a Broadway show.
We are a group private practice located in the Flatiron neighborhood of Manhattan. We offer individual, couples, and group therapy, as well as trauma treatment using EMDR. We are proudly LGBTQ+ affirmative and specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, issues related to race and identity, and more.
Life is full of challenges, and sometimes we all need a little extra support to navigate them. As a Licensed Master Social Worker, my work is grounded in the belief that every person deserves compassionate, individualized care that meets them exactly where they are. Whether you're managing anxiety, working through a major life transition, navigating relationship difficulties, or looking to build confidence and resilience, I'm here to walk alongside you. My specialties span anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, self-esteem, and life coaching for adults, teens, and children alike. Alongside this, I bring dedicated expertise in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, learning disabilities, and language disorders. At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to advocating for the whole person and equipping you with the tools and skills you need to grow. I look forward to being a compassionate, consistent partner in your healing journey and witnessing the strength and resilience that comes from doing this meaningful work together. In our work together, you can expect a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you are truly seen and heard. Therapy here is person-centered and strengths-based, designed to feel empowering rather than overwhelming, and always tailored to your unique needs, goals, and lived experiences. Drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and psychoeducation, we'll work collaboratively to build meaningful skills and create lasting change. My style is flexible and collaborative, because no two people are alike, and your care shouldn't be either. My path to becoming a therapist grew was rooted in a simple but powerful belief that all people, regardless of age or background, sometimes need help and extra support. This belief has been shaped and strengthened across a range of settings, from higher education and hospitals to pediatric clinics, with each experience deepening my commitment to versatile, compassionate, and individualized care. Working across these environments, I've witnessed firsthand the profound impact that change can have, not only on an individual, but on everyone around them. That perspective informs every session. With an extensive background supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and experience across a broad range of developmental needs, I bring both professional expertise and genuine understanding to our work. No matter where you are in your journey, it is never too late to take that first step toward growth and healing. Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me staying active, whether that's out for a run or exploring new ways to move. I love trying new foods, discovering different cuisines, and getting creative through arts and crafts. These passions for movement, curiosity, and creativity carry over into how I approach my work with patients every day.

Times of transition are exciting and challenging. Starting something new, moving through inflection points in your education and career, preparing for completion and uncertainty while you figure out what's next, are all important processes everyone hopes will go smoothly - but sometimes they can feel rocky. Even good changes or subtle shifts can feel unsettling, especially for highly sensitive people. If social, academic or emotional / mental health issues are stressing you and making it hard to feel confident and supported in working towards your goals, therapy can be a great tool to help increase understanding about "how it all works" and get support in developing patience and progress towards deepening clarity and commitment to your goals. Anxieties, insecurity, depression, difficult patterns in relationships or work, and problems focusing can be understood and changed, so you have more energy and confidence to devote to living. Become more connected to yourself and others through a specialized process of exploration with a trained professional, and see a difference in your life. A therapist’s expertise and experience are very important, but the *key* ingredient of effective therapy is a “good fit” between you and your therapist. If you’d like to meet and see how it would be to work together, I would be pleased to hear from you. Beginning work as a psychotherapist in clinic settings in 1995, I opened my private practice in 2002. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University, am a New York City based Licensed Clinical Social Worker (licensed in New York and New Jersey), and earned a certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the NYFS Institute.
We are a team of clinical psychologists and social workers that provide affirmative therapy for all individuals. We focus on creating safe spaces to facilitate healing while encouraging our clients to take committed action towards the lives they crave. Our approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure Therapy. These approaches have a profound impact on individuals navigating anxiety, OCD, panic attacks, phobias and more. Using measurement based care and tailored assessments our approach to mental health care captures not only the ways in which you feel better, but objective data about how your symptoms are improving in response to treatment. Our Psychological Testing and Evaluation services help our patients accurately identify ADHD, Autism, giftedness and more to help inform treatment planning and/or support in school or at work. From psychotherapy and sports performance to psychological testing Our affirmative therapists are compassionate, collaborative and work with clients on both short and long term goals. We balance supporting you with where you are at and respectfully guiding you towards achieving a happier, fulfilling life using evidence-based methods. Most of our patients have not worked with an affirmative therapist before and are relieved to get started. What We Can Help With: Our therapists treat a wide variety of mental health concerns from adjusting to life changes and stress, to OCD and phobias. For some, the focus is on here and now symptoms of anxiety, ADHD, depression and body image. Others look to explore relationship patterns or the role of trauma in their life. All of our providers are passionate about social justice and use anti-oppressive and trauma-informed stances in their work.
As a mental health professional with 26 years of experience, I am dedicated to helping children, adults, and geriatric populations navigate anxiety, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and grief and loss. My approach is built upon the pillars of warmth, compassion, and evidence-based therapies, as I am passionate about the power of human connection and resilience. Let’s work together to discover your strengths and develop practical coping skills. I believe in creating a collaborative, open, and affirming environment that is tailored to your unique strengths and abilities. Your healing journey may include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, art therapy (younger patients), and more approaches to help you manage self-doubt and develop healthy coping skills. At all times, I practice person-centered therapy, respecting your self-determination and honoring confidentiality, which helps me promote your best interest and develop a life worth living. I look forward to exploring your personal journey and experience in our work together. My path to becoming a therapist began as a mental health screener for the World Trade Center employees and volunteers who worked at ground zero after 9/11, who faced indescribable tragedy and environmental exposure to an unprecedented event in our nation's history. This experience shaped who I am and the compassionate, patient-focused therapist I strive to be, one that enables me to bring a comprehensive understanding of loss and grief to my practice now. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, from hiking the trails to gardening at home. I also love music and volunteering in my community to strengthen connections.

I offer sessions that are client focused and curious. In our sessions, we co-create a space with compassion, creativity and humor to foster an environment where you can feel both safe and challenged to grow. I practice with a psychodynamic relational approach that is trauma-informed and socially aware of power and privilege, critical of psychological paradigms that pathologize suffering. I specialize in working with queer and trans clients with a particular focus on trauma, dissociation, and grief. I ground my work in an anti-oppressive and queer-affirming approach that acknowledges the many experiences we bring on both an individual and societal level.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I take an integrative approach to therapy for adults and older adults. My work centers on helping you navigate anxiety, depression, relational trauma, and the often-disorienting weight of life transitions. Whether you're grieving a loss, stumbling through the fog after an impactful change, or simply wondering "how did I get here?" — you don't have to figure it out alone. I believe in the power of genuine, human-to-human connection. As your therapist, I aim to be a steady and honest partner in your growth: someone who celebrates your wins, sits with you in the hard moments, and gently challenges you when you're ready. Together, we'll work to help you discover your own inner strength, build self-compassion, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, because neither is your story. I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build practical coping skills, psychodynamic therapy to understand how your past shows up in your present, and solution-focused techniques when you need momentum and clarity. I also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build self-awareness and create lasting change. What you can expect from our work together is a safe, judgment-free space. I believe in being a real human in the room with a clinical lens, balancing warmth and personality with genuine therapeutic support. Your unique story, values, and goals shape the direction of our work, and I tailor my approach to meet you exactly where you are. My path to becoming a therapist began early. Growing up, I played the role of the fixer, the doer, the "don't need to worry about her" child in my family, because that was where I felt most seen. Those personal experiences gave me a close view of how isolation and shame keep people stuck in familiar but unhealthy loops, and how one safe, honest connection can begin to untangle that. That understanding deepened my commitment to care that is both compassionate and direct, never dismissive. Now, I bring my full, authentic self to each session: curious, collaborative, and unafraid to sit with hard things. Outside of my role as a mental health clinician, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and my cat, Chichi. I also love trying new restaurants, catching movies at different theaters around the city, traveling to the next destination on my ever-growing bucket list, and dabbling in art just for the fun of it.
