*I am licensed in both Oregon and California, and can work with students who often travel between these two states.* When the difficult experiences from your past are still impacting you, it is hard to know what to do. You don’t feel like yourself anymore, and the people in your life are starting to notice. It’s coming out at school, in your relationships, in your mood. You might be thinking “I just want to move on with my life. Why can’t I just get over it already?” But no matter how many times you try to move on, you still feel stuck. You are not alone. I help people who have been through difficult childhood, sexual, and relationship experiences look at how their experiences have shaped them, and explore how to take back their lives from the memories that have burdened them for so long. Together, we will build a trusting relationship where you can feel safe enough to explore what happened in your life, the ways you have survived, and how to get unstuck so you can move toward a life that is ruled by you, and not by the past. I know reaching out to begin therapy can be an overwhelming experience. I offer a free 15-20 minute consultation, where you can share a bit about what you would like to work on, ask me any questions you may have, and we can determine whether I might be a good fit for your needs. Please feel free to visit my website to learn more and schedule a consultation. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

I'm a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist helping adults navigate anxiety, identity, trauma, and life shifts with care and curiosity. You may be feeling anxious, disconnected, or overwhelmed by everything you’ve been holding. Maybe you’re exploring your identity, healing from trauma, or navigating a life shift that’s left you feeling unsteady. You’ve likely been doing your best to push through, but now you're ready for space to slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with yourself. If that resonates, you're in the right place. Healing doesn’t happen through pressure or quick fixes. It happens in spaces where you feel safe, seen, and supported. In our work together, I’ll meet you with presence and curiosity, not judgment. We'll explore how past experiences, relationships, and systems have shaped how you move through the world today. My approach is trauma-informed, affirming, and collaborative. I draw from somatic practices, mindfulness, CBT, expressive work, and attachment theory to support your goals and help you reconnect with yourself in meaningful ways. Whether you're healing from trauma, navigating identity, managing anxiety, or feeling the quiet weight of burnout or chronic illness, therapy can offer space to pause, reflect, and rebuild on your terms. Together, we can create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to try something new, and encouraged to take steps toward the life you want.

My approach to counseling is collaborative, compassionate, patient, and kind. I will focus on understanding you where you are at without judgement, so that you can have greater acceptance of yourself and your experience, and be able to be vulnerable and honest with someone who cares as you navigate the challenges you face. I don't believe that there are any "quick fixes" in therapy - rather, I see counseling as more like a journey of lasting change, personal growth, and self-development, one that can be achieved in relationship with someone who can support you and your process. My work focuses on people at all stages of life who are working through developmental transitions (leaving home, starting or ending a relationship, experiencing big life changes, etc.) who want to better understand who they are, and how they can become the best version of themself using the strengths they have within themselves. I help people to understand themselves and their patterns so they can identify and gain insight about their thoughts, feelings, and identify blind-spots to be able to make choices and move forward in a direction that feels best for them.

Hello! My name is Bukayo and I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes mental health care should feel collaborative, practical, and tailored to you—not one-size-fits-all. I’ve been partnering with clients in mental health for almost a decade mostly working in community mental health settings including street medicine, crisis and urgent care settings. I have experience and enjoy working with both young people and adults, especially during times that feel overwhelming or uncertain. My approach is straightforward and supportive: I take time to really understand what’s going on, explain options clearly, and work with you to find what actually helps. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and empowered to make meaningful progress. Looking forward to partnering with you!

I specialize in supporting adults with anxiety, OCD, and trauma. I take a collaborative approach to therapy that incorporates individuality and the wisdom clients have about themselves, along with evidence-based approaches. I view my role as walking alongside you in your therapy journey to provide support in setting and accomplishing goals that are aligned with your values. I worked in 3 college counseling centers prior to working in private practice. As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, I particularly enjoy working with individuals also in these communities.

Have you ever had a moment, conversation, or even a look that gave made you feel felt? That felt sense of connection is what Resonance, LLC is based on. Too often, we are forced to stay on the surface level or simply don't know how to connect on a more meaningful level--perhaps because we were taught to; perhaps because of trauma; or maybe because we are afraid someone will abandon/make fun of/misunderstand us. Resonance is about feeling accompanied, being seen, heard, and mostly, felt, throughout the healing process.

I find I am most helpful working with individual transition age youth and adults seeking help with bipolar and mood disorders, identity exploration, setting boundaries and navigating relationships, learning coping skills, making sense of traumatic experiences, and unpacking privilege and learning to be a better ally. I am comfortable and knowledgeable about topics relating to sex and sexuality, gender affirmation, sex positivity, poly/non-monogamy, and intersections of identity. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been practicing therapy since 2015 and have been in social services for over 15 years, serving youth and adults experiencing legal consequences, houselessness, and severe mental illness in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My style tends to be curious, nonjudgmental and empathic, and I take a relational and collaborative approach. You are going to be putting in hard work and it is my job to be a good guide by offering insights, direction, and skill building. I am trained primarily in narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy. I use an anti-oppressive, person centered, and trauma-informed framework. I strive to be culturally sensitive, anti-racist and queer/LGBTQIA+ affirming. I also know that I am not perfect, and I will ask for your honest feedback throughout the therapy process so that I can adjust and adapt my approach to best fit your needs. I am a queer [white cis male] person and have friends and family members with a lovely mix of intersecting identities. I started struggling with my identity, mental illness and legal run ins as a teenager, which led into a career path as a peer advocate, mentor, and mental health provider. I've done a lot of work on myself that I find valuable to my practice. While I believe my personal experience gives me knowledge, insight, and empathy, I also know that everyone has their own unique experiences; I am open to sharing parts of my story with you when it is helpful, whether that is to offer validation, challenge stigma, or to just get to know each other better. A bit more about me: I am a dog dad, artist, and gaymer. My recharging activities include chilling at the dog park, traveling and backpacking with friends, sketching, reading comic books and cooking.

College can bring a lot at once: more independence, academic pressure, changing relationships, questions about identity, and the uncertainty of what comes next. Even when things are going well, it can still feel overwhelming, isolating, or hard to manage alone. Horizon Online Therapy is a small telehealth practice offering therapy for college students in Oregon. We are not a large platform or a call-center-style service. We are a small team of clinicians who value steady, personal, and collaborative care. Our therapists support students dealing with anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, burnout, identity questions, family conflict, perfectionism, and major life transitions. We work with students who may be adjusting to college, navigating cultural or family expectations, exploring identity and belonging, or trying to understand patterns that keep getting in the way. Our team includes: Alex, who works with adoptees, immigrants, and students from multicultural backgrounds, with a focus on identity, belonging, trauma, and the experience of living between cultures. Tenaya, who supports LGBTQ+ students, students navigating relationships, and those struggling with stress, perfectionism, self-doubt, or feeling stuck. Rachel, who brings a holistic approach and incorporates mindfulness, EMDR, and somatic therapy for students working through trauma, burnout, or significant life changes. Therapy with us is warm, practical, and individualized. We offer online sessions so students can access care from a private space that works for them. Our goal is not to tell you who to be, but to help you feel more grounded, more connected to yourself, and better able to manage what you are carrying. You do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Therapy can be a place to slow down, sort through what is happening, and get support that feels real.

Aloha, my name is Mahina. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and sole practitioner / owner of Honu Healing LLC, offering individual psychotherapy to adults of all ages and walks of life. Many of the people wanting my support are feeling burdened by anxiety, sadness, or grief, overwhelmed by a variety of stressors, or simply worn down by internal and external elements. Sometimes these experiences lead to self-defeating/sabotaging thoughts and behaviors, feeling disconnected from oneself or others, or struggling with cycles of shame and self-doubt. While these challenges are deeply human, they often impact our relationships, sense of security and identity, ability to be our authentic selves, and our capacity to fully function. It is my heartfelt honor to support individuals through current or lifelong challenges. I specialize in helping adults navigate traumatic experiences, grief, transitions, spirituality, and stress related to school, work, or relationships. I am here to help and guide you with effective, lasting solutions to persistent struggles. My approach is tailored to your unique needs and goals. I utilize trauma-processing methods that engage somatic awareness, your intrinsic wisdom, and inner resources. We will explore habits that are not helpful in your relationships with yourself or others. I will help you reclaim your agency with empowering tools and knowledge and guide you toward applying this in your daily life in self-affirming, embodied ways. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, engaging, gently challenging, and often playful. With reverence for your intrinsic dignity and wisdom, I trust your compassionate capacity to heal and connect with yourself and others. I partner with you using proven methods that go beyond traditional talk therapy and employ your inherent strengths and wisdom. It takes courage to entrust others to ally with you along your sacred journey. With my steadfast help, you will be guided through a journey of brave explorations fostering a kinder relationship with yourself. Please reach out if you are curious about my approach and exploring therapy as a vehicle of nurturing self-discovery, courage, and desired change.

My specialties are self-worth, relationships/attachment and traumas. From our earliest experience, that may not even be remembered, we've learned how to be in relationship. Some things may have been very helpful and other things we learned work against us. Through a lens of relationship much can be understood about ourselves. I offer both weekday and weekend sessions as business hours don't always work. I even offer in-home counseling (additional fees apply) for those who prefer or need me to come to them.
