Great to meet you! My area of specialty is working with young children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with mood dysregulation, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and conduct behavioral and eating disorders. Over the past five years, I have been providing therapeutic services to young children and their families, assisting them with addressing behavioral issues, and mental health concerns, resolving conflicts, and breaking generational curses (trauma). A bit about my approach to therapy As a licensed psychotherapist, I focus on the six areas of personal development: spiritual, mental, emotional, intellectual, physical, and social. The foundation of my work involves using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) and Person-Centered to help guide clients to eliminate unwanted behaviors and replace them with the healthy behaviors they desire. My passion is to empower children and their families and help them overcome any unwanted obstacles, increase self-awareness, promote healthy communication, and establish healthy coping skills. Becoming a clinical psychologist grew out of my lifelong wish to help people lessen the emotional and psychological pain that any of us can be susceptible to. My focus in working with clients is to help them reconnect with themselves, with others, and with their emotions so that they can lead a more satisfying life filled with meaningful relationships and purpose. My approach to therapy is primarily rooted in a modern psychodynamic orientation. As such, I value the development of a strong therapeutic relationship and meaningful connection with clients.
