I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in New York and Pennsylvania. I have a dual degree in Social Work and Music and use my knowledge of art and human behavior to shape my practice. I have a holistic, laid-back, and compassionate approach to building relationships. I use talk therapy in combination with mindfulness, body awareness, and creative expression to understand where you are coming from. I hope to foster a non-judgmental space for you to process and understand your inner thoughts and feelings. When I retired from professional ballet, I attended Princeton University for my undergraduate studies. I started going to therapy and found it helped me participate more fully in my life and find more joy in my experience of college. My interest in mental health led me to study social work at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by sport psychology in Scotland, as a Fulbright scholar. I enjoy working with a variety of people, including athletes/artists/performers navigating transitions and retirement.
I have specialized in working with college and university undergraduate and graduate students since my graduate training and I have worked in six different college and university counseling centers. I have innate knowledge about the experiences that are relevant to college and undergraduate students and it is my mission to provide support in helping navigate the journey during this integral time of development. I have experience supporting students through general academic stress and concerns as well as compounding stressors relevant to diversity, culture and identity. Finally, I understand the intersection that other factors have during the college and university experience (i.e., family, friend and romantic relationship building and conflict, social injustice, financial stress, career uncertainty, etc.)
Life is complicated enough. Starting therapy doesn't need to be. I offer state-of-the-art evidence-based treatment for insomnia, depression, obsessive, compulsive disorder, and anxiety disorders. I offer personalized, evidence-based treatment delivered with compassion. I welcome and affirm clients of all backgrounds and identities in my practice.

In today's world, it can be extremely challenging to feel truly and simply happy. Many are struggling to develop a sense of identity, and may experience a lack of boundaries, people-pleasing tendencies, and confusion about their own wants and needs. The pressure can feel overwhelming, leading us to struggle with anxiety, loneliness, life transitions, and our relationships. But it doesn't need to be this way; Change is possible. If this resonates with you as you seek to find support, you’re in exactly the right place and I’m so glad you’re here. I believe that connection is the basis of healing so I prioritize creating a safe and nurturing therapeutic space, where we work together to heal your relationship with others and, most importantly, with yourself. Through my extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults, I aim to tailor therapy to your unique needs. I am trained in various therapeutic approaches, so we can work together to figure out the best type of therapy for you. My priority is to help you grow holistically into the most authentic and connected version of yourself. I became a therapist because I believe in the potential of every person to grow, change, and achieve a true sense of connection and contentment. Taking this step can be intimidating, but you aren’t doing it alone. Let’s work together to uncover your hidden strengths, ultimately empowering you to create the fulfilling life you deserve. I’m here to listen and support you as you grow into the best version of yourself, and I will be walking alongside you every step of the way.

Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, or the impacts of trauma? Do you wish you could show up differently in your life and with those you love? As we try our best to adapt to the world around us, we can sometimes develop patterns that are unhelpful or that no longer serve us in our current circumstances, which can lead us to feel stuck. I will work alongside you to build insight, foster self-compassion, and help you to identify your own internal resources for healing.
My work is dynamic, effective, and tailored to you. I specialize in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression, and grief. I'm trauma informed and relational, and I work creatively, with warmth and humor, to get you where you need to be. I'm LGBTQ+ affirming and culturally responsive.
We are who we are for a lot of reasons, maybe we will never know most of them. But even if we can't choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. -Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower This quote has always resonated with me as a clinician; there are many aspects of our lives, our stories, our families, and our circumstances that we may not have chosen and may not be able to change. However, there ARE many ways of processing these very important aspects of who we are. Therapy is a wonderful and fulfilling way to do just that. I'm glad you're here. I currently maintain an all-virtual private practice and provide therapy to both individuals and couples. I am comfortable with a variety of presenting concerns and have a specialty focus of relational/couples therapy. I have completed Level II training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy, an evidenced-based approach to couples therapy. I'd love to chat with you to learn about what's bringing you to seek therapy and to see if we'd be a good fit. Together, we will create a non-judgemental therapeutic environment with warmth, safety, support, and a sprinkle of humor. My practice is culturally- and trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming and I have been seeing clients for over 7 years.
I'm a therapist who is here for you, exactly how you are and where you are. Connecting with someone you can build trust with is the first step to building our therapeutic alliance. We all experience stress and challenges in life. These events, whether big or small, stay with us, often showing up in our thoughts, behaviors, feelings, and bodies. Carrying our burdens takes a toll. Recognizing these impacts in ourselves can be complex because our brains are doing the hard work of protecting us. I help adults manage daily stress, life transitions, self-doubt, career stress, relationships, and identity challenges. You're welcome to connect over a free 15-minute consultation before deciding to book. I'm so proud of you. Navigating the work stressors and life transitions on a daily basis. Also, you worry what others may be thinking about your ability to show up and push through. After all, you’re the “strong one”. It can be exhausting. My goal is to journey with you to learn the skills to break the patterns that keep you stuck. You don’t have to face your stressors alone.
Hi! I help clients cultivate awareness, insight, and self-compassion so that they can know themselves in a deeper way and live more authentically. I'm level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), which means I can help you get to know and heal the parts of you who feel stressed, anxious, burnt out, or depressed. We do this in a gentle, trauma-informed way. My practice is also informed by studies in psychodynamic theory, self-compassion, mindfulness, creative arts, and Buddhist psychology. No matter what approach you feel most comfortable exploring, I believe that safety, consent, and the therapeutic relationship are the foundation for healing.
