CRM Counseling, Life Coaching, and Wellness is a collaboration among licensed professional counselors, life coaches, and a registered dietician. All of us bring different approaches, techiniques, life experiences, and backgrounds to the practice. Each of our providers, including the life coaches, holds a masters degree or higher in either a counseling or psychology field. We can help you with anxiety, academic stress, purpose finding, career guidance, goal setting, relationships, communication, substance abuse, and self-acceptance, just to name a few. CRM offers both in-person sessions at our Deer Park office and telehealth sessions. These options provide more availability and flexibility for you. All of this means that there is probably someone here to meet your needs. Give us a call, send us a text, or visit our website to get started.
Do you feel overwhelmed, burnout, mentally or physically exhausted? Are you struggling with anxiety and can’t seem to manage mood swings? Unable to achieve your goals due to lack of attention span and decreased motivation? There may be many contributing factors complicating your situation such as unresolved conflicts from childhood, substance abuse and interpersonal relationships. It may also be quite scary to seek medications and treatment for things you can feel but not see. But let me tell you- we are not our brains! Rather we are affected by the way how our brain functions and we all depend on the healthy flow of neurotransmitters to function and to thrive. Some brains produce these naturally, while others require some assistance and that’s nobody’s fault- same way that it is not an individuals fault for producing less insulin or thyroid hormone. So let’s aim to resolve these mental health issues together with holistic and integrative methods. As a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, graduate of Vanderbilt University and with over a decade of experience, I am well versed in evaluating, diagnosing and treating mental health disorders for children, adolescents and adults. I am truly committed to provide exceptional and high-quality psychiatric care. Utilizing extensive expertise and evidence-based practices to enhance mental health across the lifespan and eliminate disparities. Passionate about making a positive impact on individuals’ well-being.
I approach from a person-centered and strengths-based perspective. I believe that therapy is a joint journey where you are the expert in yourself and your life and my role as your therapist is to support you on this journey by providing information, skills, resources, and offering alternative perspectives. Please note at this time, I am only able to accept insurance for those located in NY. For those in Texas, services are cash only.
Are you navigating an ‘it’s complicated’ relationship? Do you feel crazy, like you can’t trust yourself? Have you found out your partner has betrayed you? Are you ready to process through childhood trauma to end generational curses? It is my passion and honor to focus on women’s issues, relationship issues, and trauma. I believe in tracing symptoms to their roots. My approach to counseling is about creating a space of trust and rapport to collect dots, to connect dots, to ultimately, correct the dots. I utilize EMDR, somatic experiencing, and behavior therapy to respond to how past unresolved experiences are coming up and creating obstacles in present life. If you’re ready to do the work, you have access to freedom from things that are no longer serving you and an opportunity to move toward a brighter and more secure future.

You may feel overwhelmed by academics, anxiety, or the pressure to keep up while also figuring out who you are in college. Many students feel stuck in their thoughts, burned out, or unsure how to manage transitions, relationships, and expectations. I work with college students navigating stress, anxiety, identity concerns, and major life changes, helping them build coping skills and feel more grounded and confident. Therapy can be structured and goal-focused or more reflective based on your needs. You don’t need everything figured out to start. I offer virtual therapy via video sessions. I'm available weeknights and Sunday evenings. I am in-network with most major insurance plans, with new plans added regularly. You can verify your specific coverage through my website (bottom of the page). Self-pay options are also available. Please reach out with any questions.
I work with people navigating change, whether that’s figuring out adulthood, starting a family, or finding your footing in a new season of life. I also support neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, autism, or other forms of neurodiversity, who are learning how to honor their unique ways of thinking, feeling, and being in the world. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, supported, and confident as you move through whatever’s next. Clients describe me as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. Our sessions are a space to slow down, reflect, and explore what really matters to you. We’ll work together to make sense of what’s been feeling heavy and uncover new ways to move forward. You can expect a comfortable, judgment-free space to talk about what’s been on your mind. We’ll focus on what’s most important to you, and my hope is that you leave feeling heard, understood, and a little more at ease about where you’re headed.

If you’ve been feeling like you’ve kind of lost yourself lately, you’re not alone—and you’re exactly who I love working with. A lot of the people I see are juggling school, expectations, relationships, and big life decisions, while quietly feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of who they really are. You might overthink everything, struggle to say no, or feel pressure to have it all figured out—even when you don’t. In our work together, you won’t get a stiff or overly clinical experience. I show up as a real person—warm, down-to-earth, and sometimes bringing in humor when it helps take the edge off. I’ll help you slow things down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and start trusting yourself more so you can feel grounded, confident, and more like you again.

Dr. Gonzales takes a personalized, collaborative approach that thoughtfully integrates medication management with evidence-based therapeutic techniques. He believes every patient deserves a safe space — one built on trust and open communication — because lasting change requires feeling safe and genuinely heard. He specializes in treating anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, PTSD, and ADHD across the lifespan — with a particular focus on the unique challenges facing early career professionals, young adults, college students, transitional aged youth, kids and teens. Whether you're seeking psychiatric care for the first time or you've tried other providers and are looking for a better fit, his goal is always the same: to help you grow, develop coping skills that actually work in real life, and build the kind of emotional foundation that holds. Dr. Gonzales believes that mental health care should be readily accessible — because the easier it is to engage in care, the more likely meaningful progress follows. He currently sees patients virtually across Illinois, Florida, Wisconsin, and Texas. In-person appointments are also available in Chicago, IL for those who prefer them.
