Hi, I’m Adam Parker, a licensed therapist and school psychologist providing therapy for college students, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and emotional regulation. Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning but feel overwhelmed internally, struggling with overthinking, difficulty following through, or feeling stuck despite knowing what they “should” be doing. My background as a school psychologist allows me to take a structured, skills-based approach to these challenges, helping clients better understand how their brain works and develop practical strategies to improve focus, reduce anxiety, and increase follow-through. My approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral and evidence-based practices, while remaining collaborative, direct, and approachable. I aim to create a space that feels both supportive and productive, where we are not only building insight, but also making meaningful, real-world changes. If you are looking for therapy that is clear, practical, and focused on helping you move forward, I would be glad to connect.

If you think I might be a good fit for you, reach out via phone, text or email to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to learn more. I look forward to talking with you!

Authenticity is central to my work—I show up as my full self so you can feel safe doing the same. As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, I’m passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ and late-identified neurodivergent individuals in unmasking, exploring identity, and building lives that feel genuine and sustainable. My approach is eclectic and inclusive, drawing from multiple modalities to create care that fits you. I integrate Geek Therapy and continually work to decolonize my practice. I’m sex-positive, kink-aware, and affirming of LGBTQ+ and ENM identities. Let’s work together to help you feel more fully, authentically you.
Ready to become unstuck and empowered to take charge of your deepest struggles? Many aspects of our lives can make us feel completely powerless, but having a therapeutic guide can remind us of what we already know about ourselves while pushing us to think outside the box, discover personal meaning, and branch out of our comfort zones. I enjoy using creative, trauma-informed therapeutic interventions that will help you embrace your complex and beautifully human life journey. I’m ready to meet you where you are with intuition and empathy. Together, we can initiate healing that leads you toward confidence, fulfillment, and wholeness. You may feel stuck in repeating family patterns, unprocessed trauma, mood instability, low self-esteem, identity confusion, unwanted substance use, or disconnection from yourself. Regardless of the presenting challenges and diagnoses, I often focus on how your struggles relate to and are impacted by the systems in which you exist, such as family, intimate relationships, friendships, work, and society as a whole. I also believe therapy can hold both depth and humanity. Humor, authenticity, and genuine connection are part of the process. Even when we’re discussing difficult or uncomfortable topics, you will be met with openness, curiosity, and no judgment. I'd love to hear from you if you have questions or are interested in involving me in whatever journey you're on!
I see therapy as such a gift to oneself when trying to make sense of one's identity, relationships, and purpose in this world. My clinical focus is on helping people cope with depression, anxiety, and stress during life transitions to remind my clients of their strengths and how these strengths can help them not only cope, but also celebrate these new chapters in their lives. I have extensive experience in health related issues, acculturation stressors, and on parenting stressors. I strive to create a space of safety that helps my clients feel heard and understood. I am bilingual (Spanish) and bicultural (Ecuadorian descent). I use an interpersonal approach to help people explore how their roles in their relationships throughout their lives have impacted their identities, thought patterns, and abilities to have their needs met throughout their lives. I use an eclectic approach including interpersonal therapy, aspects of CBT, ACT, EDMR, and EFT.
