Therapists for college students near Boulder, CO
Tribe has a unique organizational culture that sets them apart from other group therapy practices. Within the group, they foster a growth-minded attitude that is safe and supportive. Each therapist in the practice seeks personal growth, so that they may be their best selves for their clients. Their services are moderately priced, offering excellent services, including workshops, retreats, and mental health therapy to individuals, groups, children and adults. People who are ready to commit to being open and vulnerable, and try new tools that they learn from a Tribe therapist, will find that they are not alone in their struggles and there is a path to help them feel better. Being in college can be a super fun, but stressful time. Our therapists understand the pressure you can face while trying to find your path in life. Current clients love working with our team, some stating, "I don't know why I didn't do it sooner!".

Taking the first step to begin therapy can feel overwhelming. Welcome! I am glad you are here. I primarily utilize EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment theory, and Somatic-based approaches. I have a particular passion for working with childhood trauma and attachment wounds, sexual trauma, and stage of life transitions. I am also passionate about women's health and have significant experiencing working with women in the perinatal period.
I have worked in mental health since 2011 with a wide range of people. I mostly help people who are experiencing the effects of stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma, among other things. I focus on building a quality relationship with people I work with, where you feel seen, heard, and understood. I also incorporate approaches that draw on recent neuroscience research in order to provide tools and resources that can be used in the present moment, while we find ways of addressing underlying causes and creating long term change. Many people who find their way to me have already been in therapy and are looking for something a little different from traditional "talk therapy". I am committed to multiculturalism and am a LGBTQ+ ally. A few modalities I employ are EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Gottman Institute, Experiential/Somatic/Gestalt (including parts work). Please feel free to explore the website, or reach out if you have any questions. Thank you.
Hi! I’m Marissa, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in school counseling. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling, and I focus on learning ways in which people are best able to process traumas, build self-compassion, and practice coping skills for individuals to strengthen their abilities to handle everyday life, and its curveballs. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, overthinking, and relationship challenges. My approach is grounded, genuine, and centered around creating a space that actually feels human. I want clients to feel like they can come in exactly as they are — messy thoughts, uncertainty, humor, emotions and all — without feeling judged or pressured to “have it together.” I care deeply about building real, trusting connections and meeting people where they’re at, while helping them grow, heal, and feel more confident and at peace in their lives. Together we’ll explore your current challenges, goals, strengths, and what kind of support may feel most helpful for you. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or share everything right away. My goal is for you to leave feeling comfortable, understood, and hopeful about the process moving forward.
I am a religious trauma therapist in Denver. Recovering from conservative religion can leave you questioning who you are, what you believe, and how to trust yourself. Maybe you're stuck in perfectionism, constantly thinking, “I’m not good enough,” leading you to isolate from others or hold yourself back from your goals. Maybe you have trouble making decisions because you believe you can't trust your instincts. You might not remember a time when things felt different. But you’re ready for relief: a kinder inner voice, more joy, and a deeper connection to your authentic self. You’re ready to feel confident, not because you’re perfect, but because you’re finally free to be you. As an experienced self-worth, anxiety, and trauma therapist, I believe you can untangle the messages from your past that are holding you back. You don’t have to keep making yourself small and you don’t have to do the work alone. Visit my website to schedule a free 15-minute consultation so we can discuss how I can help.
At Grand Valley Wellness, we want to help you change your life. Therapy doesn't have to be lifelong - it can be short-term or long-term. The best part is that YOU get to decide.

Hello! I am currently accepting new patients. All visits are through telemedicine, so I can see anyone in the state of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Colorado. My love for what I do in psychiatry, comes from the joy I get in helping others improve their lives. Most of my patients do not know which direction to go when then come to me, and that is ok. Some people come to me looking for second or third opinions about diagnosis or medications, some people are referred by a therapist to start medication. We can openly discuss decisions and options. This is a judgement free zone. There is no way you can TMI me! My primary role in our sessions is diagnosis, evaluation and medication management. The role I have in therapy is very small. Most clients are already in therapy or have been referred by therapists to me. All sessions are conducted by tele-medicine. **Offering flexible hours, evening appointments available, also some weekends. **

I was born and raised in Rockford, Ill. before moving to Columbia, Mo. to attend the University of Missouri. I graduated with a Bachelors of Journalism and moved to Rogers, Ark. where I worked as an editor and designer for Celebrate Arkansas Magazine. I fell in love with Northwest Arkansas and stayed in the area to attend graduate school at the University of Arkansas. I earned a Masters of Science in Counseling in 2015 and opened a small practice in 2016. I relocated to Denver, Colorado in 2020. I decided to become a counselor because -- most simply put -- I believe in counseling. Throughout my own counseling work I have come to see the value in sitting across from another person and allowing them to see all of me—my fears, my doubts, my shame, my joy, my hurt. I find author and researcher Brene´ Brown sums it up best: “Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”

Former college athlete turned therapist. I'll be bringing with me my experience working with clients aged 5 to 75 on goals related to life changes, family dynamics, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationships, substance use, ADHD, and more. I lean on a humanistic and strengths-based style to bring warmth into our work. Open to working with individuals, families, siblings, or couples. Currently only offering virtual sessions. Best way to book is by texting or calling 610-904-3476. I see therapy as an opportunity to highlight your strengths and natural inclination for healing. I offer a warm and compassionate space to explore your emotional landscape in a way that feels right for you. Whether we are working on finding a deeper understanding of yourself and the patterns you find yourself in, processing trauma, building skills for better relationships with yourself and others, or any goal you can think of, I'll be offering modalities and interventions that fit your needs. I'm always open for feedback and pivoting our work to best suite you for the season of life you find yourself in. In our first session, you can expect me to give you the opportunity to share what brought you to therapy. I'll ask about the history you feel comfortable sharing about yourself. You'll have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have for me and our work together. Most importantly, we'll start to create the building blocks for trust and comfort, however that looks for you. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, biking, reading, and enjoying cozy cups of tea.

As your therapist, I will collaborate with you to create a safe environment where you can explore and understand these complex experiences and how they may impact your life today. My style of practice is warm, compassionate, and receptive. I believe that you are the only expert on your life and I will do all that I can to be a useful tool as you move towards shaping the life that you want. My approach is a combination of cognitive processing therapy, strengths based, and mindfulness based techniques.
