Do you ever feel like something is holding you back? Or maybe you just feel like something is off, but you’re not sure what it is? It is okay not to have all of the answers. Figuring things out on your own can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to do it alone. Support is available, and healing is possible. I focus on creating a safe space for you to explore. My goal is to help you build self-esteem, reduce stress and anxiety, clarify goals, build motivation, shift from unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and develop healthier relationships.

Hello and welcome! Life can feel like a lot sometimes. You might be feeling overwhelmed by academic pressure, anxiety or depression, questioning your path, navigating complicated relationships, or trying to hold it all together while everyone else seems to be thriving. College and student life can bring growth and independence, but also burnout, impostor syndrome, loneliness, and identity questions. You don’t have to navigate it alone. I specialize in working with students experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and family or relationship challenges. Many of the clients I work with are untangling complex family dynamics, healing from past experiences, or learning how to set boundaries while honoring their cultural or personal values. I also support neurodiverse clients, including those with ADHD and executive functioning challenges, and understand the stress that can come from masking or feeling misunderstood in academic spaces. My approach blends cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapy, meaning we’ll look at both present patterns and deeper roots. Together, we’ll build insight, strengthen coping skills, and help you develop a more supportive and realistic inner voice. Therapy with me is collaborative — we’ll reflect, challenge patterns, and even laugh when it fits. I am committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care for diverse clients, including BIPOC, neurodiverse, and LGBTQ+ individuals. If you’re exploring identity, belonging, or navigating systems that weren’t built with you in mind, that work is welcome here. I aim to create a space where you can show up as you are — warm, supportive, and real (not drive-thru mental health care). I am currently an Associate Professional Counselor (APC), working toward full licensure under the guidance of Lauren Vaughan-D'Angelo, LPC, CPCS. I provide virtual therapy for clients across Georgia, with evening and weekend availability. My standard rate is $125, and I accept select insurance plans as well as self-pay. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots to help keep therapy accessible and within reach. If you’re wondering whether we’re a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute phone “vibe check.”

I'm a licensed clinical social worker with a virtual practice in NY and GA. I offer psychotherapy for adults navigating life transitions and struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, perfectionism, and shame. I also specialize in helping people make peace with their bodies and heal their relationships with food and exercise. I see therapy as a deeply rewarding experience where you can cultivate self compassion, self acceptance, and flexibility. We'll create a safe space where you can process distressing feelings or challenges, grow in self understanding, build and practice new ways of coping, and move towards living a full life that's in line with your true values. My integrative approach as a therapist means I'll always be responsive to your reasons for being in therapy and what you want to find. I have an open, exploratory style, but I also won't hesitate to share more concrete resources or suggest practices to test out in between sessions if we decide together it might help.

Gen Z and Millennial women are often bombarded with difficult life transitions such as adulting, relationship distress, quarter-life crises, career pursuits, parenting, caregiving, and more. This can be a lot to manage! Societal pressures plus the changing roles of women in this age group require a focused, feminist, and knowledgable approach. It can be tricky searching for the right therapist, so I appreciate you being here in the first place. My approach is fine-tuned, using radical genuineness, to help you learn how to manage these unique stressors while maintaining authenticity and calm. I am practiced in several targeted therapies that meet the needs of women in transition including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). In my personal experience, I have come to view change as the only constant, which is why I find great value in being able to help my clients through significant life transitions. Looking back at the clients I've served over the years, I have been able to find something about every one of them that I admire. I love meeting my clients where they are and seeing how I can support their walk through life in a genuine, non-judgmental, and meaningful way. If this sounds like the right approach for you, feel free to reach out for a phone consult.

You are too familiar with stress, worry, and anxiety - even overthinking. Are you feeling lonely, inadequate, socially anxious, even panicky? Sick and tired of living constantly anxious and fearful? You can be helped to grow and expand into a state of freedom, self-confidence, and empowerment to live a life worth living. You can learn how to make your fears and worries smaller and manageable and practice the steps toward leading a full, satisfying life. This is too important. Relief is real: Life is more than just surviving! Are recurring distressing thoughts, flashbacks, and nightmares of past events - even from childhood - haunting you? Perhaps you have tried "talk therapy," but after a short time your return to the "same old, same old" without getting the results you long for. That's discouraging, isn't it? Long-lasting change is possible. Don't lose hope: Let me help you. With effective therapy like EMDR, we can rewrite negative stories in your unconscious mind, where irrational fears and trauma reside, so that you may achieve a more thoroughgoing renovation of your mind, soul, and spirit. Are you feeling overwhelmed and emotional on the inside? You work hard to create the life you want, but you feel like it might fall apart at any moment. Do others view you as the strong friend or family member who saves the day, but there is rarely anyone who consistently shows up for you? You wonder if you’re a people pleaser, too hard on yourself, and why others don’t respect your boundaries. Is there past trauma that could be affecting your current relationships that you need to process? Unmanaged anxiety, depression, or unhealed trauma can leave you feeling dissatisfied with life. As a Caribbean American, I help men and women heal from trauma and toxic relationships by providing a safe, judgment free zone where you can learn new coping strategies to live your best life. I utilize cognitive-behavioral interventions and a psychodynamic and systems-based perspective that focuses on providing you with the tools to do the work to heal yourself. Are you ready to do the work? I am currently accepting new clients for 2024. Let us collaborate to improve your emotional intelligence, build your confidence, and maintain healthy relationships with others so you can experience as much joy and peace as possible

I specialize in working with: Black men looking to heal and grow; survivors of sexual violence or childhood sexual trauma; and LGBTQ+ individuals. I take on a person-centered approach to therapy. I primarily utilize Narrative Therapy during my sessions with individuals and couples. For couples who tend to have high conflict, I prefer to utilize Collaborative Couples Therapy to assist them in improving their communication with each other, while also working through their conflicts. Currently, I am a pre-licensed therapy working towards full licensure and under the supervision of Sharita Everett. I am able to see insurance clients via contracted sites.

The freedom of life after high school was supposed to feel different than this. The college and young adult years are full of possibility with new experiences, new independence, and the freedom to begin shaping life on your own terms. It’s exciting to explore who you are and what you want, with so many paths open ahead. But that same freedom has left you frozen in fear. With so many new experiences, choices, and no clear “right” answers, it’s easy to slip into second-guessing, pressure, or self-doubt. You’ve gone from knowing exactly what you were doing and excelling to feeling lost and suddenly feeling that perfect 4.0 slipping away. What should feel like possibility can quickly start to feel like a burden and you just want someone to tell you what to do with your life. I help high-achieving students like you gain clarity and perspective as they tackle these exciting, yet sometimes anxiety provoking, milestones because feeling at home in your studies, career, and connections is essential to living a fulfilled life.
