I provide individual psychotherapy for late adolescents and adults presenting with a wide range of clinical presentations and backgrounds. I practice from an integrative lens utilizing a variety of theoretical perspectives, with the goals of fostering a collaborative and authentic therapeutic environment to meet the individual needs of my clients. I have more specialized experience with anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, family of origin concerns, college mental health, and trauma/PTSD. My style is warm and engaged, holding an accepting/non-judgmental stance. I draw specifically from humanistic, relational, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral approaches to support my clients in enhancing self-awareness/insight, reducing distress, and ultimately achieving a greater quality of life.
I provide therapy to young adults and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, grief, post-partum depression, pregnancy loss, infertility, eating disorders, relationship problems, family issues, academic and occupational stress, life transitions, and physical illness. My background is eclectic. I have a masters degree in social work, education, and engineering. I also am a certified yoga teacher which I incorporate into my practice through mindfulness and relaxation techniques. I love to learn and always pursue advanced trainings to stay current in my practice. I am passionate and committed to my work with clients; it has enriched and deepened my life. I believe everyone has the power to heal, grow, and change through therapy. By listening attentively, non-judgmentally, and compassionately, I provide a space where clients feel safe sharing their stories. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, strength-based, and holistic. It is informed by psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive-behavioral theories. My colleagues and clients would describe my therapeutic style as supportive, nurturing, authentic, active, validating, and insight-building. Deciding to enter therapy takes courage, strength, and commitment. However, a successful therapeutic relationship can lead to improved health and well-being of mind, body, and spirit.

Hello! Thanks for stopping by, it’s great to connect with you. I'm a musician/creative pursuing my Master's in Mental Health Counseling and Music Therapy at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. I see clients in Massachusetts via Telehealth at a low-cost (the rate of your insurance co-pay). My training has prepared me to work with a wide range of issues, like anxiety, depression, grief, and major life changes. Topics I'm passionate about include LGBTQ+ issues, spirituality/faith transitions, and posttraumatic growth. I'm excited to share my knowledge with you and create a space together that best supports your growth and healing. I take an experiential and embodied approach to my work. This means that, in addition to talking, I offer other clinical methods to help support you, such as Music Therapy. I also like to infuse my work with an element of creativity and play, when appropriate. My goal is that you leave each session feeling supported to keep moving forward. If anything has resonated with you, I look forward to connecting! It would be a pleasure and honor to support you through this stage of your journey. You're not in this alone, and together, we can do some great work.
I am a psychotherapist with more than 20 years of clinical, teaching and research experience. I work with individuals experiencing an array of circumstances and challenges. One of my specialties is counseling people with a focus on those in high-risk professions (e.g., law enforcement, fire/rescue, EMS, military) and their loved ones. I also work with a broad range of individuals employed in other “helping professions” (e.g., medical and mental healthcare providers, veterinary medicine professionals, educators, prosecutors, clergy) whose careers may have been negatively impacted by job and/or personal circumstances. I work with many other types of clients. My easy-going manner and collaborative style help clients develop effective strategies to enable you to better cope with, or to resolve challenges and issues, which adversely affect well-being and quality of life; depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, addiction, grief/loss, trauma, medical problems etc. The blending of my academic training, life experiences, accumulated clinical skills, and my “ability to be real with clients” combine to put my clients at ease and guide them in successfully navigating life’s challenges.
College can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. Whether you’re feeling stressed, anxious, lonely, or unsure of yourself, you deserve support. I specialize in providing high-quality, short-term therapy to decrease anxiety. I’ll teach you how you can start using proven strategies to take back control of your thoughts, confidence, and peace. I also have 10 years of experience supporting neurodivergent clients and have a deep appreciation for the way sensory needs, communication styles, and social energy impact daily life on campus. I have expertise in tailoring evidence-based interventions for autistic individuals. In addition to my private practice, I supervise psychology doctoral students and lead a research program to improve mental health treatment for autistic and anxious clients. It’s so important to find a therapist you connect with, who offers support that actually helps. If you’re interested in working together, please reach out to schedule a free consultation.

I became a therapist to provide support and affirmation to folks with systemically oppressed identities (e.g., trans and queer folks, ADHDers, kinksters, chronically ill/disabled folks, POC, cis women). I am dedicated to working with individuals facing interpersonal, life, and identity-related challenges, such as navigating gender roles and emerging adulthood (college and grad students welcome!). I collaborate with clients on a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, relationships/dating, boundaries, difference in views/beliefs from family of origin, and imposter syndrome. In my work, I use approaches such as Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients. I like to mix in gentleness, deep exploration, celebration, and the occasional “dad joke” to our work. My clients tell me this approach makes them feel truly heard, learn to advocate for themselves, and move toward their values. I believe that you deserve frank, warm support and to not be handled with kid gloves (or the dreaded, overly soothing “therapist voice”). If you want to invite me onto your therapy journey, I’d be thrilled to hear from you. I offer a free, 15 minute consultation to discuss what you hope to gain from therapy and to tell you more about what I can offer you. My Background and Approach I am devoted to building genuine, nourishing connections with my clients. My graduate training focused on providing multiculturally affirming therapy to people of a variety of backgrounds and intersecting identities. I also trained in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) to aid clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. I have specialized training in working with members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community and the young adult population, both in university and community health settings. Last, I bring my lived experience as a Queer, White, chronically ill, genderqueer being to my work with clients. I own my privilege and discuss, as it arises, power dynamics that may occur between us due to our identities, beliefs, and experiences. I believe these conversations are critical for full honesty and trust in your mental health journey.

You deserve more than just making it through the day. I can help you figure out how to make things better. My clients describe me as supportive, nonjudgmental, and easy to talk to. I help them learn how to make sense of their past, feel grounded and confident in the present, and start creating the future they want. I specialize in helping people learn how to manage anxiety, stress, life changes, ADHD, and trauma. My practice is culturally sensitive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and neurodiversity-affirming. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or scary. I believe healing works best when we can laugh, reflect, and be real together. I create a space where you can bring your full self, messy, hopeful, curious, and everything in between. Whether you’re navigating stress, identity, relationships, or just figuring out who you want to be, we’ll work side by side to uncover your strengths and help you move forward. As a social work intern, I’m passionate about supporting people through life’s in-between moments, the chapters that feel uncertain, overwhelming, or full of possibility. I bring an easygoing, compassionate style to therapy, blending evidence-based practices with genuine human connection. My approach is collaborative and non-judgmental: think of me as both a guide and a co-pilot. I work with individuals who want to explore identity, manage stress and anxiety, process life transitions, and deepen self-understanding. I also care deeply about working with young adults, students, and marginalized communities, helping folks feel seen and supported in spaces that often overlook them. Therapy with me is not about being ‘perfect’, it’s about exploring your story, building resilience, and finding ways to grow that actually feel authentic to you."
I view therapy as a collaborative, client-centered process in which I help clients explore difficult emotions, ineffective behaviors, relationships, and work to increase greater self-compassion and understanding. I value building a caring and safe relationship with my clients and use a great deal of humor in my work.
