Therapy can be beneficial and instrumental if you are looking for change in your life. We all have the ability to make positive changes to improve our lives. With years of experience working with adolescents, and adults, I am available to support you with daily struggles and achieving life goals. Specializing in issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and acculturation, I have much experience working in the school system and have a strong background in crisis intervention. I also speak Portuguese fluently. Young adults often express finding it easy to connect with me, and say that "she gets me." My practice is solution focused and tailored to each individual. I want you to leave feeling like you've gained something from our meeting. Clients appreciate my emphatic, enthusiastic, and direct nature. I am able to provide a combination of support and challenge in order to make change happen. I look forward to hearing from you!
I became a therapist to bring my passion for helping others into a space where you can feel truly comfortable, supported, and understood. My goal is not just to create that feeling within our sessions, but to help you carry it into your life and relationships. When we work together, you’ll find me walking alongside you, offering guidance and support as we explore what empowers you and helps you feel more confident in who you are. I’m here to encourage you, celebrate your progress, and help you build a stronger, more authentic connection with yourself and the world around you.
Are you experiencing stress in your relationships and you want to build healthier ones? Maybe you find saying “no” to be impossible, you don’t feel heard by others, or you have a difficult time managing your emotions on top of typical college stressors. Perhaps past relationships, trauma, or negative experiences have impacted you. It can be so frustrating and isolating to focus on healing in order to build a better future. You don’t have to be alone in it. It is natural for people to get stuck throughout life, especially during transitions (and college is a big one!). I am here to help you adapt and reconnect with yourself. You want to reconnect with the version of you know have seemingly disconnected from. Reconnecting with things YOU enjoy and learning to put yourself first. Through building coping skills and in a safe and compassionate therapy space, together, we will work to build the best version of you. I find it important to be myself in therapy, whether this means swearing when appropriate, using humor, and connecting with my clients. If you would like to learn more about therapy with me, please reach out! I'd love to get to know you.

Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed by anxiety, upsetting intrusive thoughts, or past emotional wounds that continue to affect their relationships, confidence, and sense of safety. They are ready for relief, connection, and to feel more in control of their lives. I help clients by providing specialized treatments for anxiety conditions, OCD, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), perfectionism, and the deep echoes of trauma—from relational and intergenerational wounds to betrayal trauma. I believe therapy can help us grow, even through deep pain. My role is to help you approach yourself with curiosity and compassion while guiding you toward healing and meaningful change. If this feels like the right fit for you then let's connect.
You might feel stuck—questioning your identity, struggling in relationships, or carrying anxiety and self-doubt that won’t quiet down. Maybe you’re moving through a big life change or just tired of feeling like you have to hide parts of yourself to be accepted. My clients often want clarity, relief, and a more honest connection to themselves and others. As a non-binary therapist, I understand how deeply the therapist’s identity can shape the therapy space—and how important it is to feel seen. I also bring a feminist perspective to help make sense of how social and cultural systems impact your lived experience. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in MA, VT, and FL, I support adults facing anxiety, depression, identity conflict, and relationship struggles. My specialty is interpersonal psychotherapy, and I bring a holistic, adaptable approach to each session—offering clarity, insight, and a space where you can better understand yourself and your connections. I offer a safe, affirming space where you can show up fully and honestly. My approach supports you in developing practical, realistic coping tools while deepening your understanding of yourself. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more aligned with the person you want to be—grounded, capable, and true to yourself.
I am a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals find a sense of calm and clarity amidst life’s most difficult hurdles. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to your unique needs. In our sessions, we will create a supportive, nonjudgmental space to slow down and explore your experiences. Whether you’re navigating a health crisis or life's daily pressures, I provide a safe space and the tools you need to live your best life. Therapy can be a powerful step toward healing, I’m glad you’re here.
The road to self discovery is scary, and you are taking the first steps in seeking out the right therapist for you. It’s an important investment and you want to make sure you find just the right connection. My approach is deeply personal. Working with each person to learn and identify how they are impacted by the stories of their life and their history. In doing so, we are able to bring out what is truly possible. I believe strongly in the power of our stories. From a very young age, we all start learning things about ourselves and our world. These “life lessons” start to turn into the stories we repeat to ourselves over and over again. They become who we are. Those stories are not always nice and they hold us back. But most importantly, they are often not true! They are the stories we created when we were young and we have retold them to ourselves over and over again in a weird game of telephone with one player.
Many of us struggle in silence to overcome the challenges we face, but you no longer have to face that battle alone. While the first step is acknowledging the change you need, it takes courage to recognize you need some guidance. It takes even more courage to initiate those first steps towards improving your life. I am a mental health therapist passionate about serving others through some of the darkest periods of their lives. I empower my clients battling issues related to anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harming behavior, trauma, emotional regulation, difficulties with stress, anger management, relationship problems, and many more. I consider the work I do a privilege. I look forward to beginning the journey of assisting clients in becoming not who they were before, but a new, integrated, and improved version of themselves. Are you ready to embark on this adventure together?

I collaborate with adults as they heal from trauma, anxiety, loss, depression, other mood issues, or any number of matters leaving them feeling somehow ineffective. As a clinician for over nineteen years, I will join with you to identify and transform painful obstacles, arising from past and/or present challenges, which hinder you from making healthy changes. Drawing especially from Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), we will journey together to access your core nature, the Self, more spontaneously. This leads to clarity and calm over internal and external challenges you face, resulting in heightened creativity and effectiveness with problem solving, relationship building, and goal attainment. I believe you possess all necessary strengths and pathways to answers for improving your life, but may be having difficulty accessing them at present. I welcome individuals who are gay, lesbian, or bisexual, including those questioning or seeking help adjusting to leading more open, fulfilled lives with however they identify themselves. The IFS model utilizes a non-pathologizing, mind-body focus. Drawing from the natural strengths existing within each of us, IFS and EMDR guide a person into taking the lead in one's own healing process, no matter how traumatic a background one may have lived through. On 5/4/14, I completed the Level 2 IFS training. On 3/12/17, I completed the basic EMDR training. I accept these insurances: BCBS and Medicare.
