Best fit for individuals experiencing stress, PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, as well as support with parenting challenges and life transitions. Main treatment models I provide are CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) as well as CPT (Cognitive processing therapy) which is a specific type of cognitive behavioral therapy that has been effective in reducing symptoms of PTSD. Together, we can explore solutions and positive growth. A brief therapy model is NOT compatible treatment for crisis, psychiatric emergencies, legal issues, active addictions, severe and persistent mental illness including suicidal or self-injurious behavior, nor those with histories of recent hospitalizations.
Beginning your therapy journey is a powerful act of self-love and courage. It is an impactful moment to acknowledge that you’re ready to live in alignment with your most authentic self. I’m here to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore, heal, and grow—where your voice is heard, your story matters, and your truth is honored. My therapeutic style is person-centered and collaborative, creating an environment where curiosity, self-compassion, humor, and reflection are welcome. College can bring pressure, stress, and big transitions, but it can also be a time of discovery. Together, we’ll focus on curiosity over judgment and self-compassion over shame. You are the author of your story, and you already hold the knowledge that will guide you toward the life you want. It’s a privilege to walk alongside you as you navigate this chapter, embrace vulnerability, and step into your growth.
Life is a journey with many twists and turns. Along the way we experience some good things and some not so good things, but all life experiences make up who we are in this very moment. Everyone deserves to be able to tell their story and to be heard. I’m here to help support my clients so they have a voice and can determine their own life direction and meaning. I primarily use tools from cognitive behavioral therapies and mindfulness in working with substance abuse, addiction, depression, anxiety, anger management, ADHD/impulse control, and life transitions. I help individuals gain a deeper understanding of how motivation, executive functioning, and overall functionality affect their daily lives. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University in 2011, and received my Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology and Graduate Certificate in Substance Abuse and Addiction from Western Michigan University in 2015.

I was a psychiatrist prior to immigrating to the United States in 2001. I currently work as rehabilitation counselor, case manager for people with disabilities and also work as a mental health counselor independently. I am a good listener and passionate about each individual's life journey, self-identity, acculturation, relationship and career path. When we sit down to listen, learn and share different perspectives, we unlock entirely new ways of seeing ourselves. Stress never goes away, but we can adjust how to react toward stress, build resilience for ourselves and healthy relationships with others.
Our clinicians are trained in numerous evidence based and best practices including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Trauma Informed Care.
I have been a Counselor for three decades and have equipped myself with a wealth of education, experience and training that will be at your disposal in order for you to reach your goals and begin to thrive once again. Are you feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like you're carrying invisible weight no one else can see? Whether you're juggling classes, navigating relationships, questioning your identity, or dealing with family or cultural pressure, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m Tsuki, and I specialize in working with students who often feel like they don’t quite “fit the mold.” Many of the students I support are BIPOC, neurodivergent (ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD), and LGBTQIA+, and they're trying to make sense of who they are while moving through complex systems that weren’t built with them in mind. In therapy, your whole self is welcome — even the parts that feel messy or misunderstood. I offer online therapy in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese and bring a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to our work together. Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and always grounded in respect for who you are and what you need. If you’re looking for support with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity questions, or just feeling stuck — I’m here to help.

I look forward to working alongside you as you work to achieve your goals! I provide individual counseling for adults to improve functioning and self-satisfaction. I believe counseling is a collaborative process where we work together to develop insight and tap into your strengths so you can overcome challenges and reach your goals. If you are facing anxiety, depression, or having difficulty managing stressors, you are not alone. You have survived experiences no one should ever have to face. They have left you feeling depleted, broken, and worn out. You need a reminder of your dignity and resilience and some coping skills for dealing with this very challenging time. I'm here to help. I work with folks facing transitions across the lifespan. I have 25 years experience working with tweens and teens, first as a teacher, then as a counselor. I also love working with young adults as well -- especially those exploring their identity and sense of purpose. You have already taken the brave first step to consider counseling. Give me a call if you are ready to feel seen, heard, and supported as a person worthy of dignity who is ready to discover your best self in a difficult world.
