As a therapist, yoga teacher, reiki practitioner, and someone who cares, I desire to come alongside you to help empower you. We will incorporate a variety of therapy approaches as well as eastern philosophy, breath work, various meditations and visualizations, skill building, and releasing trauma from the body. It is time for you to heal. Are you wanting a therapist that personally understands neurodivergence and spirituality? My ideal client is curious and open minded. Together, we can figure out how to get from where you are to a more peaceful life. Are you seeking connection, understanding, practical help, and some humor from your therapist? If you want to play an active role in your healing and want to engage in therapy specifically created for you that feels authentic and practical, I’m here for you. Chronic Pain, Anxiety, Trauma, Sleep issues, relationship issues, stress, grief, parenting, and depression are a few of my focus areas. I understand struggle, anxiety, trauma, depression, and chronic pain on a personal level. I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help, to admit that you aren’t able to heal yourself. This effort to enlist help makes you strong and resilient, not weak. Let’s work together to get you walking down the path that best serves you.

Living in your body may feel exhausting, unfamiliar, or even unsafe. Trauma, relationship harm, health changes or chronic illness, and struggles with body image and eating can leave us feeling disconnected and stuck between overwhelm and shutdown. I offer a warm, grounded presence where you can feel seen and begin cultivating a deeper sense of self-trust and wholeness - a space to explore lived experiences and learn supportive wellness practices. I work with busy students who are carrying the weight of stress, trauma, and grief while navigating immense transitions and responsibilities. Many of my clients are healing from sexual violence, emotional relationship harm, chronic/invisible illness and health-related changes (migraines, endometriosis, PCOS, POTS, cancer), and concerns around relationship with body and food, including disordered eating. I've supported students and young adults for over a decade, with many years of experience working in a college specialty counseling clinic. I use a mind-body approach that blends somatic (body-based), cognitive, and mindfulness practices including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping). This helps us understand ourselves with compassion, cope with emotional overwhelm and physical body discomfort, heal from trauma, and reconnect to relationships and activities that nourish us. I find great joy in serving multicultural and multi-faith communities while providing a weight-inclusive, culturally-affirming, and trauma-informed space where all parts of you are welcome.

There comes a time when we all need support in remembering who we are. So many of us have learned to shrink, perform, or lose ourselves in order to belong. This can leave us feeling disconnected, lonely, overwhelmed, or unsure of who we are beneath the roles we've learned to carry. You may be thoughtful, capable, deeply feeling, and exhausted from carrying so much. Many of the individuals I work with are highly sensitive, often therapists, healers, helpers, and cycle-breakers, longing for deeper authenticity, secure attachment, meaningful relationships, self-trust, and a more wholehearted connection with themselves and their lives. My approach to therapy is warm, relational, holistic, and depth-oriented. Together we explore patterns, wounds, relationships, and nervous system responses keeping you stuck while helping you reconnect with your authentic self. I integrate attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, parts work, and somatic awareness to support healing and healthier relationships. Healing often begins when we no longer feel the need to hide who we are in order to feel loved, accepted, or safe. Therapy can become a space to slow down, breathe, reconnect with yourself, and begin creating change from the inside out. You do not have to navigate everything alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you in the process.

I have worked with clients from many different backgrounds across the lifespan who are suffering, lost, or just looking for a place to talk. Most commonly, I have worked with people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, family struggles, relationship stress, and life transitions. As a therapist, I take an approach that is individualized and client-centered. I develop a treatment plan collaboratively with my clients based on their expertise of their own lives. I draw my interventions from behavioral approaches and frequently incorporate self-compassion work with clients. Through my undergraduate and graduate studies, I learned a lot about human behavior. Through my clinical experience and in my own journey, I learned a lot about healing. I am so grateful to serve others through this work every day.
