I’m Lizzie Holley, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) based in Collin County. I help adults (18+) who are seeking support, healing, and greater self-understanding. I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, life and faith transitions, grief, religious and spiritual trauma, chronic illness, medical trauma, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. I’m LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to creating a space where clients feel safe showing up fully as themselves. I also bring lived experience navigating disability and chronic medical challenges, which informs my work with clients coping with chronic illness, medical trauma, and adapting to bodies or lives that haven’t unfolded as expected. My approach to therapy is warm, honest, relational, direct, and grounded in curiosity. I believe healing happens in spaces where people feel seen rather than judged. Therapy with me is collaborative. We’ll work together to better understand your patterns, emotions, relationships, and story while building practical tools for growth and resilience. I draw from approaches including CBT, ACT, narrative, and somatic therapy, while always tailoring the process to the individual sitting in front of me.

Most of the clients I work best with have one thing in common: they feel overwhelmed by the pressure to “have it all together,” especially around food, body image, and big life transitions. Many of them are students who look fine on the outside but are quietly struggling with anxiety, burnout, or feeling disconnected from their bodies. I often work with people who: Feel guilty or stressed about eating and don’t know how to break the cycle Overthink food choices or feel “out of control” around food Are adjusting to a big life change (moving away from home, starting college, pregnancy/postpartum, major stress) Carry a lot of self-criticism and feel exhausted from trying to meet everyone’s expectations Want a space where they can be honest without feeling judged or misunderstood My clients tend to be caring, hard-working, sensitive, and often the “strong one” in their friend group. They’re usually trying to balance school, relationships, and their own mental health—often without giving themselves the same compassion they give others. If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place. My goal is to make therapy feel like a safe, steady place where you can slow down, understand what’s going on underneath the stress, and feel more connected to yourself again.

Ms. Macshadiya utilizes the biopsychosocial model when approaching patient care, believes in treating patients with unconditional positive regard, and encourages them to be an active participant in their journey to wellness. Ms. Macshadiya provides assessments, psychoeducation with empathetic listening, and inclusion of patients in the discussion and selection of available treatment options as much as possible. She focuses on treating the whole person, and not just a diagnosis.

According to the American Psychological Association, mental health therapy can help a person going through a challenging life event or situation, treat mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder, and address symptoms like sadness, guilt, or anger. The process is also helpful when dealing with relationships with family, friends, and coworkers. I work with adults and adolescents, as well as couples and groups. I have found a niche working with first responders experiencing moral injury, generational trauma and estrangement, adoption, abortion, and miscarriage issues, chronic pain, DNA testing matters, grief, loss, and suicide prevention, intimacy issues, legal/offender issues, overcoming church hurt or past abuse, parental alienation, sexual assault/rape, and low self-esteem and self-confidence. I would be honored to work with you as you begin to live your best life. Counseling can help you as you confront long-standing life issues, or specific concerns that need to be addressed. The length of counseling can range from several weeks to several months, depending on the number of issues that will be discussed. You’re the strong one — the responsible one — the one who learned early how to hold it together. You navigate different spaces, code-switching when needed, carrying family expectations while trying to build relationships that feel healthy and secure. You’re self-aware, but old attachment patterns still show up. You’re ready to understand what shaped you and create connection that feels safe, mutual, and authentic. I provide trauma-informed, attachment-focused therapy for Black and Brown Millennials and Gen Z adults and couples. Using EMDR and relational therapy, we process generational and relational wounds so you can shift patterns at their root — not just manage the symptoms. You don’t have to keep carrying everything alone. Many of your patterns were learned for survival — they make sense. Therapy offers space to unlearn what no longer serves you and build something healthier. If you’re ready for intentional, culturally responsive depth work, I invite you to reach out.
Hi, nice to meet you! I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. As your therapist, it is my goal to see you become a better and stronger version of yourself. It is my belief that life's experiences teach us things that may no longer be the most helpful or true today; even if they were true at the time in our past. When we don't adapt and remain flexible, we find ourselves in a web of mistaken beliefs, thinking errors and unresolved and unprocessed life problems. As a result, it becomes too hard to find our way and manage life's challenges in the here-and-now. I love to be present and help my clients find a new way and authentically experience change. I've worked with clients from many walks of life and with varied needs. My areas of expertise are in Anxiety, Depression, Women Issues, Life Transition, Christian Counseling and Self-Esteem issues. I use an Eclectic and Holistic approach to help my clients bring out the best in themselves. I like to use humor, challenging questions, and a warm open-minded approach. My favorite activities when I'm not at work are to explore and appreciate the outdoors by traveling, yoga, shopping, and spending time with my family and dog, and trying new exciting restaurants. Selecting a therapist can be difficult because it's not easy to know exactly who you are getting. "Will this person really know what she is talking about? Is she a total Quack? Will she actually be able to help me?" These questions are the norm for clients and uncertainty comes with the territory of what you are searching for. It's my hope that we will make a great team and you will become a better and stronger version of yourself.
Hi, I’m Chioma Onuorah, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I understand that college and graduate school can be exciting, but they can also bring stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, and uncertainty. I provide a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can openly discuss what’s been weighing on you. I work with students experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, substance use, sleep difficulties, and other mental health concerns. My approach is collaborative and personalized. I offer both medication management and psychotherapy, tailoring treatment to your unique needs, goals, and lifestyle. Together, we’ll focus on helping you feel better, build healthy coping skills, and improve your overall well-being. I believe seeking help is a sign of strength, and I’m committed to making mental health care accessible, compassionate, and empowering. Whether this is your first time seeking support or you’re continuing your mental health journey, I look forward to helping you thrive both personally and academically.

While working in healthcare for the past 25 years, I have experienced the value of human connection between caregiver and patient in various roles and settings. Every individual I have provided care for has their own story, a unique set of experiences that has shaped them. Understanding these individual differences helps establish individual plans of care. Upon establishing a therapeutic relationship with my clients, I strive to learn their stories and help them overcome their struggles. I aim to help clients find meaning and purpose, improve their quality of life, and achieve contentment. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I can prescribe medications and provide talk therapy to help treat psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, mood disorders, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, PTSD, sleep disorders, and psychotic disorders. I have named my clinic after “eudaimonia,” which means ‘good spirit’ and is translated from Greek simply as ‘happiness.’ Eudaimonia is described as the condition of human flourishing, and this philosophy of finding meaning and purpose guides the care provided at Eudaimonia Psychiatric Mental Health Clinic.
