I'm so glad you're here. I specialize in counseling teen girls & young women who are struggling with the impact of past trauma(emotional, sexual, physical, relational, spiritual, etc), symptoms of anxiety, depression, major life changes, low self-worth, and challenging relationships. I am passionate about supporting young women as they grow toward a deeper understanding of themselves, their experiences, and their relationships, helping them grow in confidence and to embrace more fully who they were made to be. I help individuals better manage stress, more clearly understand and navigate their emotions, set healthier boundaries, calm their inner critic, build resilience, and strengthen relationships. I have been supporting adolescents, adults, & families in the mental health field for 20+ years and have advanced training in trauma-focused treatment strategies, including EMDR (in training) and Brainspotting. I also integrate ISF-informed and parts work and somatic interventions. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, self-doubting, or struggling with people-pleasing, perfectionism, boundaries, or relationships, I’m here to walk alongside you. You were made to live whole and free with authentic confidence, peace, and joy. If you’re ready to start your journey, I’d be honored to support you!

College can be really hard — it definitely was for me. I struggled with the transition, felt lost in who I was, and went through a lot: relationship issues, self-esteem stuff, grief, even addiction. That’s part of what brought me to therapy, and eventually to becoming a therapist myself. Now, I work with students who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure of who they are. I know how lonely it can feel when things get heavy — and I also know that healing is possible. My approach is warm, honest, and down-to-earth. I won’t give you generic advice or try to “fix” you — instead, we’ll explore what’s going on in a way that feels real, safe, and supportive. I specialize in trauma, identity, grief, anxiety, and neurodivergence. I’m also LGBTQ+ affirming and really care about creating space for all parts of who you are. Therapy doesn’t have to be scary. You don’t have to have it all figured out. We can start wherever you are.

I use a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, and motivational interviewing, etc. - all tailored to your needs! I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, body image, perfectionism, and more. My style is laid-back, honest, and reflective. Together, we’ll set goals that align with what you want and help you move toward feeling more balanced, confident, and supported—both during college and beyond. I hope to see you soon!

College is the ultimate life experience, but it can also cause a lot of anxiety, doubt, confusion, and feelings of inadequacy. It also brings along questions of “am I good enough,” “did I choose the right path,” and “how am I going to get through this”? Guess what? These are all normal feelings and thoughts that every college student experiences to some degree or another, and I am here to help you navigate them! However, what happens if tragedy strikes, or you find yourself struggling with disabling anxiety, or chronic pain and/or illness? That was the predicament I found myself in during Graduate School. I received a Traumatic Brain Injury along with a Spinal Injury halfway through my MSW. I thought it was all over for me, I thought I was going to fail out of school, and was told I could never work in the field of social work. Well, I’m here to tell you they were WRONG! I made it through all the trials and tribulations, graduated with Honors, and I am here to help you navigate your struggles and help you continue to pursue your dreams! If you are struggling with daily college life, are experiencing debilitating mental health issues, or are trying to power through chronic pain and/or illness to acquire your college degree and make your dreams come true I am here to help you on your journey!

I work with college students and adults who are navigating stress, anxiety, academic pressures, relationships, and life transitions. I take a collaborative and supportive approach, tailoring therapy to each person’s unique needs and goals. Some clients choose to explore EMDR, and I’m trained to use it when it fits, but many find our sessions helpful through conversation, reflection, and practical coping strategies. I aim to create a space where students feel understood and empowered, whether you’re struggling with burnout, uncertainty about the future, or past experiences that continue to affect your life. I accept BCBS of Michigan and BCN and offer telehealth sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays to make therapy accessible and easy to fit into a busy schedule.

Jazmin Guy is a compassionate and grounded therapist who believes that you are the expert on your life. Her role is to walk alongside you—offering insight, encouragement, and reflection to help you reconnect with your truth and move toward healing. With a blended approach rooted in holistic practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and spiritual exploration, Jazmin works with individuals navigating major life transitions, unresolved childhood trauma, postpartum shifts, grief, and the often-overwhelming process of self-discovery. She also supports parents in redefining their identity and finding balance in their evolving roles. Her direct yet nurturing style helps clients get to the heart of their pain, making space for clarity, transformation, and growth. Clients often describe Jazmin as warm, intuitive, and refreshingly honest. Her welcoming energy makes it easier to be vulnerable, and her dependability provides a safe container for meaningful change. “I’ve always been deeply curious about what shapes us—the experiences, beliefs, and stories we carry. Therapy is a place to unpack those pieces and build a new, empowered narrative.” Jazmin’s mission is simple: to hold space, reflect truth, and support you in creating realistic expectations—for yourself, your relationships, and your healing journey.

Hi, I’m Dallas, a counseling graduate intern at Resilience Counseling & Play Therapy. I work with children, teens, young adults, and college students who may be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, stuck, or uncertain about life’s next steps. College can bring a lot of pressure balancing academics, relationships, work, family expectations, and mental health all at once. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I enjoy helping students navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress management, and emotional struggles that can interfere with daily life and success in school. I also have experience supporting children, adolescents, and families through behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, and family stressors. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to talk openly, build healthy coping skills, gain confidence, and work toward meaningful change at your own pace. Whether you are struggling with something specific or simply feeling emotionally exhausted, you do not have to figure it out alone.
