I specialize in working with graduate students who are seeking a kind, sensitive, and curious clinician to guide them through the mental health rigors of academia. The journey of completing a graduate degree can be a stressor which exacerbates existing issues of perfectionism and anxiety; but it can also be a time of growth, insight, and self-discovery. My second area of speciality is grief and loss. Grief shows up in many ways, often during points of life transition. Break-ups, divorces, deaths of a loved ones, chronic health issues that can impact daily functioning - these losses are part of life but can be challenging to navigate. Sometimes those around us can be uncomfortable with the intensity or duration of grief, or want to "fix it". Therapy can be a space where you can bring these emotions and have space held for their intensity without judgement. Everyone deserves the chance to experience healing and live a full life. I approach my work with genuine interest to know people- where they have been, what has brought them to where they are now, and where they would like to go. I offer both virtual and in-person options for therapy.

I work primarily with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression and diminished self-esteem. These issues manifest in many different ways and may include an inability to make decisions, difficulty maintaining relationships, low confidence, discomfort in social settings, exhaustion, fears that may seem irrational and poor view of self. I enjoy digging into these issues because they can be debilitating and it is amazing to witness the life change that can occur through therapeutic self discovery. Through the use of Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, my focus involves supporting clients in self-esteem development, anxiety reduction, mood improvement and personal growth. It is important to me that my clients truly feel heard and I strive to instill strength in every session. If you are ready to take control of your life, move past fear and doubt and really SOAR, schedule an appointment today. I am excited to join you in this journey of healing and self discovery!

I specialize in working with people who are feeling overwhelmed and stuck in anxious loops of procrastination and perfectionist behavior. I help clients acknowledge triggers and learn new skills to move towards a life free of self sabotage and guilt to allow space for confidence and hope. I ground in the present while looking at and understanding how your past environment has shaped you. I utilize and encourage your strengths so that you may confidently embrace your desired change and feel empowered to heal through mind-body skills. Together, we will explore how anxiousness, perfectionism, and trauma are present in your body. We will identify your ideal life, then create a plan of action to learn emotional and body regulating skills so you feel more in control to react to life's triggers.

Accepting the journey, we've been on and the need for change can feel overwhelming. Often therapy is seen as a one-sided conversation, let's change that narrative together. As your therapist, it is important to me to create a relationship where you feel safe and supported. We can explore what acceptance, healing, and growth means to you and create a plan to achieve those goals. I am passionate about working with teens and adults experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, women's mental health, PTSD, and identity development. I offer engaging, honest conversation to encourage accountability towards growth and acceptance. I believe that you have the capacity for growth when you feel seen, heard, and respected. Bring your emotional support water bottle or coffee and let's get to work on creating the best version of yourself.

Coming to therapy for the first time can feel daunting. We all crave familiarity, so stepping into growth often brings discomfort—but that discomfort can serve as a catalyst for transformation. As a therapist, I believe in meeting you exactly where you are, offering support through the process of self-discovery. I offer a warm, welcoming space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly and without judgment. I view my role as a collaborative partner in helping you untangle what feels overwhelming, while honoring that you are the expert in your own life. My approach to therapy is intuitive, curious, and deeply client-centered. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), tailoring techniques to best address each individual’s needs. I believe that strong therapeutic relationships are built on empathy, patience, and authenticity. As we work together, I’ll offer a balance of support and challenge, helping you move toward the changes you’re seeking at a pace that feels right for you.
